I don’t like how the Honda grom guy was acting, he is going out with no plates, which he knows is illegal but still goes out, people who ride without plates are probably bike thieves most of the time, recovering stolen bikes are more important than people doing burnouts. At least imo. ok if DMV is closed fair enough, just don’t go out then. I have 4 motorbikes, but didn’t leave the house in 3 months cos of lockdown rules. Just deal with it

@@invertedsun i think pulling someone over for having no plates is more important than someone doing burnouts cos they can just get the plates of the guy doing burnouts but if a bike has no plates, 80% of the time its stolen, so if there is a chance to find a stolen bike and arrest the thief, i would go for no plates bike, and just read what Capital Punishment said, he may not have a car, fair enough but there is still other ways to get to work (if thats what he was doing out) plus going out with no plates, knowing he will get pulled over or get ticket, its just not worth it. I cant say much for when its for work as my job is completely different to a normal job. You stay safe too mate

That's the comment I type on this channel every time I see a video where a cop says that. I think most of the time it's the cops way of blowing off steam. They get so mad because people can escape their overreaching arm and so they want to feel big and bad. I had the m4 on my 2002 bandit...it ended up causing me so many problems...cops looking to get you on something would straight for it. I didn't even ride that bike very often...I would usually use it for long rides and my R1 as my daily.

I outran one by accident the other day! I got super pissed, and quit my job and was rolling hard going home and sure enough cop spots me hauling ass and try’s to run me down to pull me over, but he said I just drove away! I actually stopped to get gas and he pulled up and said “how many wrecks is it gonna take” he knew me, but I said “what’s up” he said been chasing your ass for 10 miles only reason you ain’t going to jail is I knew you didn’t see me and you never looked back, I said yea I had no idea you where back there! He just said bub slow it down before you die and walked away got back in his car and left!

Loud pipes? I used to like loud exhausts for two reasons. More power and the sound of more power while my riding was in the city 99% of the time. Now I ride 90% on the highway. Today's relatively quiet and light weight sport bike exhausts make pretty much the same power as loud pipes do at most engine speeds, so I leave my stock sport bike's exhaust on. Other than a slight weight advantage, I don't see any reason to replace modern stock exhaust with aftermarket pipes anymore. I'd only consider it if I can't get the stock pipes or the stock pipes are unavailable or much more expensive than a good aftermarket system. I even run stock exhaust on some of my old super bikes now. My sport touring bikes are either stock exhaust or very quiet aftermarket. I just don't like listening to excessive noise all day on the highway anymore. After 8 or 10 hours, the quieter the bike (and wind noise), the better, IMO. I don't believe in the old saying loud pipes save lives. I had loud pipes on many bikes that didn't save me from inattentive drivers. Many drivers (and neighbors) are so annoyed by the noise they become dangerously aggressive....
