😯 🐛 🐛 🕸 Caterpillar web factory (Longer version)

It's not just spiders that produce webs. This hedgerow is covered in webbing protecting the caterpillars that will eventually pupate into ermine moths. At this stage of their life cycle they appear to have stripped the hedge of foliage, but it will probably recover.
