I know this is a bit late to the party but I love this rendition. It’s essentially Sleigh Ride but Mario. TBH I didn’t get the coda was actually Slider until I looked at the description. I guess because it wasn’t in a different key; now I can hear it’s clearly different from the start of the song but it’s the fact that the some of the music from Mario 64 have the same structure/leitmotif (battlefield, cool cool mountain, slider are pretty much the same song but with different personalities). It’s definitely neat to think about . Performance was awesome.

The conductor is grooving, total concentration breathing on the sleigh bells, the double-time at the end. Utterly magnificent.
