I mean granted it was a team boss fight so it would have been that much more difficult if marluxia kept his pools and if larxene also having her full move set. Tho, I think they could have done modified movesets depending if they were fighting alone or with someone. Like larxene would get her full move set if you killed marluxia first and vice versa

This just shows how versatile and what an absolute MASTERPIECE Kingdom hearts 2's combat system was! So many different ways to handle Larxene (a boss which EVERYONE died to their 1st time) I've yet to see another hack n slash with a system this good, maybe dmc series

MeetingMy Omens I think they should’ve made it more challenging than it was. It was still fun but didn’t live up to 2FM’s Data Larxene. She had too many openings in my opinion, so it didn’t require too much skill. I actually went with a no guard run for the KH3 Data Larxene and won quite easily. In summary, she should’ve been harder.

Data Larxene boss idea: what if we just reskin the Hades Kingdom Hearts 1 boss fight, but we make it hurt.

I just beat Data Larxene in the Garden of Assemblage! Here's how I did it. Maximum level, main keyblade was Ultima Weapon, I used final form(keyblade: Fatal Crest) as much as possible. Wear atleast 1 "Shock Charm" Armor piece. Wear any garmet that has thunder resistance. She is FAST, you cannot slouch on the controller buttons, it's a very edgy and flashy boss fight. Now for abilities, Remove experience boost since you're Maximum level that won't be necessary. I equipped combo plus, air combo plus, but I think the main one was Air Combo boost. You want to equip abilities that match the form you wish to "morph" into. When you reach max level, you get "damage control", definitely equip that ability! My custom shortcut commands were Curaga, Reflega(You NEED Reflega! The most important detail! You'll lose if you don't use it.), Megalixir, Elixir. I won on the skin of my teeth. On her last health bar I went Master form(Keyblade Bond of Flame) and air combo'd like crazy!!! It was insane! So that's one way to win this battle.

My only qualm with KH2 is how weak party members are. I don’t need them to be KH3 good where they stagger the boss to death but at least have them do their actual damage to enemies like in KH1. KH1 is my fave in the series btw.

@@shino475 i found the battle gates and DI to be fun and as for reaction commands I did not care for them as i only used the mandatory ones (except 1000 heartless fight ) seph is a free fight in kh2 (except lvl 1 because everything a threat in lvl 1)

Kinda, but so many data org bosses have phases, attacks or entire fights where there's just no point in attacking them at certain points because they don't stagger properly or just outright instantly kill you at level 1. Xaldin DM phase, Xemnas 2, and Xigbar come to mind off the top of my head. Imo the best fights are ones with less camping like Roxas, Saix or Axel where usually how good you can dodge and punish is way more important, but Larxene is definitely not one of them unless you spam the shit outta Reflega.

This game is just so much better than kh3 It focuses on the actual story of kingdom hearts that gives me the feels and the combat is just perfect with the dual weild and the amazing finishers. 3 only focuses on disny which is complete garbage

Factually wrong considering that the Disney worlds plot matter more than KH2 where Sora just screw around searching for Riku and in 2 occasions fight a member of the organization. The story pick up only at the start, at Hollow Bastion and then at Twilight Town again. And while KH2 has drive forms, KH3 has keyblade forms which are just as cool and fun to use.
