Since LEGO Star Wars kicked off this LEGO odyssey of mine, I thought finding out a few LEGO Star Wars The Complete Saga facts video could be cool for a video. Plenty of facts to go around and they've been covered all over the internet i'm sure, but there's enough easter eggs and secrets to go around and here's my hand curated picks.

Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is a Lego-themed action-adventure video game based on the Lego Star Wars line of construction toys. It is a combination of the game Lego Star Wars: The Video Game (2005) and its sequel in 2006, which span the first six episodes of the Skywalker Saga.

Another fun fact: Anakin's Flight in Episode 1 was originally supposed to be the finale of the Episode 1 levels, but due to the 6 level rule (despite the first game having 5 levels in Episode 2), it was cut, and then remade in Complete Saga, though the part where Anakin's fighter gets immobilized wasn't put into the remade version, but it WAS in the prototype that Jon Burton (AKA. Gamehut) showed off

There’s something so perfect and daft about early LEGO games character movement. Its like its limitations helped the humor.

MoCap was used in the LEGO Star Wars III production, actually. You can see that by the lighting, the fact that this is actually part of the LSWIII naboo level, and also the fact, that both han and leia were unplayable inside the files of LEGO POTC, probably because at this point of development they preferred to do it on a slightly more finished game.

Oh nice I didn’t know that about LEGO Star Wars III ! I don’t know too much about that game tbh, played it a couple of months ago so I’m looking forward to diving into some trivia about it !

@@KlawPeels I wrote it in a bad way. I meant, that they tried to use mocap on LSWIII instead of LSWII, because of the things i mentioned earlier, that prove it.

I wonder why Darth Plagueis was going to be a playable character. Since the game was being developed before the movie was completed perhaps Plagueis was going to play a greater role. It is a known fact that the scene where Palpatine tells his story was a late addition, so maybe at some point Plagueis was going to appear in some other way, like in a flashback.

That’s a cool theory! Never even considered that TT games obviously had access to the film while it was being made or at least in its late production, so yeah maybe a flashback would be the most likely inclusion?

George Lucas had a lot of concepts for episode 3, at one point the movie was over three hours long, so I think there must have been a lot of different ideas for how Plagueis would show up. Also, if Lucas wanted Plagueis to be the villain of his sequel trilogy as some speculate, it would make sense to give the character a greater role, but that's pretty much a conspiracy theory. It's wild to think that maybe TT games knew about things that people theorize about to this day.

Ever look into how they were going to include the whole first level of Lego indy in the game but cut it from the final game with a trailer left in as a replacement, it was found partial working in a prerelease build of the Wii port iirc EDIT: Also there's a prerelease build of LSW1 for PS2 that got put online a few years ago, it has a few of the unused levels even more unfinished than what Gamehut showed

1:17 The fun thing is in Episode 3 there's also a Wilhelm scream in the openning scene. You could hear from clone trooper, who was near one of the Republic's ship cannon, when it was destroyed.

So it was! Hadn’t even thought of that, and that game literally has snippets from the film in it? It’s crazy that they released it before the film 😂 Don’t think you’d ever get that nowadays, but yet again socials do a good enough job of spoiling things anyway lol

for the chase they should have had P2 control the wheel bike and be slightly ahead of P1 so it’s like the case scene

That could have been cool yeah! I was also thinking maybe having a clone trooper on some kind of bike next to Kenobi, but then he gets destroyed before the duel with Grievous

@@KlawPeels i think if they did that they could have made the clone trooper commander cody and just had that be a short starting sequence before you battle Grievous and just had one awesome level to represent one of the coolest parts of EP3!
