If your insole is glued down, just rip it up. That's what I did with these shoes. When you tie the knot under the insole, tie it towards the inside arch of your foot so you don't feel it. Let me know if you have any questions. Good luck.

I struggled a lot with my Puma Brasil Football shoes because they have thick laces and tight holes.After a long time of fiddling with them the laces got little fuzzy hairs but it's still nice. I'll probably buy some fluorescent laces and put them on the same way.

I did it with my high tops. If you have more holes/eyelets in your shoes, start from the 4th one from the bottom. If you follow this correctly, you'll have laces in the 1st, 4th and 6th ones from the bottom. Put the laces through the remaining holes and tie them under the insole. Worked for me

You realize that 68 inches in 5 ft 8 in long. Thats about as tall as the average person

StopperMan11 I used a tape measure. The shoes are size 13 and the distance between the eyelets from side to side on these shoes is bigger than average. So that's why the laces are bigger than average. Everyone shoes will come with shoe laces that fit those specific shoes. So people should be able to Star Lace their shoes with the laces that came with them.
