So this is super cool but I believe it depends on the state you are in. As far as I understand. In Texas it has to be an overhead 3rd brake light if there was a factory overhead 3rd brake light. Just make sure you do your research. Would hate to see people get in trouble for this cool mod

Not sure this would satisfy 3rd brake light requirements. Isn't there a height requirement for that?

@@adventuredex With the stock bumper on the JLU. There isn't enough space between the bumper and the gate. The JKU has a bigger gap there. It is a cool mod tho. I went to 33's GoodRich AT KO2's and still have the 3rd brake light. I also have a spare tire brake ring. What really caught mt attention was the extra reverse lighting on the strip.
