Spiritomb is sooo underrated, the fact that it can set it's own weather and get tough claws for it is crazy, turning shadow sneak into like a 117 base power move I think after stab? Sucker punch is even more, and off of that attack Stat is broken.

For my mono steel run in Pokemon insurgence, mega haxorous has BRUTALLY STRONG combo with swords dance+weak armor the sheer amount of sweeps I made with that thing has AMAZING, definitely my favorite mega out of all of them.

Something you didn't mention, Mega Eevee changes forms before anything happens meaning you can magic bounce prankster users like the steel gyms Klefki. I recommend having Thunderbolt, Psychic, and Foul play. The last move should change based on your needs (Like Eevee in a normal game:]) I chose it as my starter for my nuzlocke and it solos the steel gym with 1 hyper potion.

I had mega eevee on my second playthrew and it was tbh really broken. It comes down to what difficulty and mode you play but normal eevee with Adaptability is for the beginning not that bad, its just 2 gyms. Thb that was a really good video, with good arguments.

Currently using mega eevee and it is so fun. I really like using jolteon's speed to pivot into a more defensive eeveelution like sylveon and living a hit that would have otherwise killed

I finally got around to playing insurgence, and for some reason, Eevee was the only starter that interested me. Glad to hear it's not a bad option, both from you and the comments. (I named it Shifter and managed to rroll for 31 spatk ivs)

The biggest issue with the physical water type Mega is simple: lack of Waterfall. You don't get access to the Waterfall Hm until very late in the game. And unless you do chain breeding to move a Waterfall move from a Goldeen to a Totodile, you are kinda out of luck and are stuck with Aqua Tail.

im really liking your content so far! i recently started a new playthrough of pokemon insurgence so these tips help a lot! my first playthrough i had a shiny eevee start but once i got to the elite 4 i was struggling a lot and never finished. this time i decided to go for delta charmander and i hope to combo with its mega well. i really want to use delta dwebble to since dessert mons are my favorite! im def gonna keep updated on your videos :)

Ahhhh Mega Evolution... remember when those existed? Jokes aside, great video!! I originally planned on doing a Delta-only run (personally don't like using canon mons in games with fakemon, unique forms and such) but since some of my favourites are locked until postgame, this'll be a great oppotunity to chose which mons to use becuase of their unique megas! (If I'm able to play through the game fast enough to stay up to date with these videos, I'll try let everyone know how my team goes!)

even in challenge runs, i don't think waiting for mega eevee is that much of a liability, since the first few gyms can still be consistently beaten without delta ivysaur/venusaur or an eeveelution

I think that mega feraligator is pretty good early if you use the dex nav to get the egg moves on totodile which will give it dragon dance and 1 dragon dance and just about anything will die with aqua tail.

I diagree on Haxorus being the best mega. Dont get me wrong, its really strong, and if you use bag items it becomes almost unstoppable, but I think mega Eevee is stronger since it can abuse the immunities of the different eeveelutions to never take damage (if you bait the AI properly).

Imma be honest, mega eevee is not very good at all it's base stats make very weak compared to every other mega. Hax is definitely the best mega, hands down.

It's at the Mysterious Spire, which can be accessed by soaring. You don't need to get 920 Pokemon to get the mega stone, so don't worry about that.

That's probably the thought process behind the Fire type mega, since they gave it Weather Ball as well. They probably should've given it some fire moves as well to improve the versatility, like they did with Meganium and Marowak.
