It’s funny... I saw this vid the other day, and while driving back from a gig today, the drummer in the band (who saw them live back in the 80’s opening for Crue) coincidentally played the whole Thunder in the East album. I had never heard it before. What an awesome band. Crazy Nights is a classic!

you are back! And with monster tracks, we have very similar taste! Massive guitar tone you have going on there too. Accept were brilliant back then, i think fast as a shark started a trend! Hi Mark your Jackson Public preset on my AF3 using bookshelf monitors at all your stock settings lack the sizzle heard in your clips. Should I add a bit of 16k in the amp blocks out our Eq or is there a different setting you recommend I adjust? Thanks 🙏

Hell yeah! another fan of LOUDNESS! If youve heard of them then you've probably heard of another band called 'Saber Tiger' If not - check out their EARLY stuff. They even had Ron Keel on vocals at one point. Another awesome band to check out is Anthem _(アンセム Ansemu)_ , Early material is also very excellent. Both bands are still active though they arent so much 70s or 80s heavy metal anymore. Once in a while they will pull off a track which sounds very 80s. You definitely need to check them out if you havent :)

Just a passing thought if you ever read this - Check out a song called 'Wild Anthem' by Anthem (Japan) I think its something you would definitely love. At least where the guitars are concerned! song is sung in half English and Half Japanese. Some solo's are very iron maiden'esk but still very 80s - Honestly they have so many great songs but if you had to check one out - it would be that one.
