If you take of the lids on the smaller kuggis boxes from ikea they fit perfectly in the Alex drawer. I've added a few different kuggis boxes to my Alex drawers and it really helps keeping them organized.

Just a pro tip for the drawer organizers. For those who want to save a little coin and DIY, you can get Kaizen foam for about $35 in all thickness in 24x48 sheets. Easy to cut out and cater the molds to exactly what you need. Other than that, another 10/10 video!

Mic over the monitor. How is it better other than aesthetically when it's not in use? It's not closer to your mouth, it's directly above your keyboard, picking up more noise and it gets in the way of the monitor. Just put it to the side of your desk. You get get it closer to your mouth, it's below your eyeline so not in the way of the monitor and it'll be facing away from the keyboard so it picks up less noise. Function over aesthetic (Especially when it comes to only while not in-use)

Yeah, the mic above the head over or the monitor doesn't make sense. Someone would have to yell into the mic for people to hear you. As someone who went to school for audio production, that mic placement is not good, using the thumb and pinky space apart like this 🤙🏽(thumb by your mouth and the pinky pointed to the mic, touching) is the optimal spot for audio quality for mics like those.

You can get matching white kitchen drawer organizers from ikea that fit perfectly in Alex drawers for extremely cheap I have 2 of them. Randomly thought about using them when browsing in ikea and low and behold they fit perfectly.

I got that pyle mic with my gift card I got for Christmas and got it for just over $20 and it is a very good mic for that price instead of paying $70 non sale price, one thing though is that the stand doesn't have cushioning on the bottom so it might scratch ur desk so a mic arm might be a good choice so imma pick one up

The Vesa Mount adapter sounds exactly like what I needed! I almost brought a new mount just to get more height. This is definitely a cheaper option. Edit: Check that your monitor vesa mount is flush to the back, because I just noticed that I needed longer screws to fix it in place since my ASUS VG279Q 27" vesa location isn't flat but has a cavity (pit?).
