That mic would be sick because the noise filter actually rotates meaning you don’t really have to change the orientation of the mic. That gain knob is also a great bonus! It would make communication much clearer and convenient. Great video Frank, and thanks for providing us with entertaining content!

I can't imagine rotating the filter being that useful unfortunately. He said the mic is in cardioid mode, which means you should always be speaking into the front of the mic

If you search for something, it gives you an extremely short list of results, and unless you know the names of album or artist, good luck finding what you're looking for without a name. I was hoping for it to be a useful tool for allowing my passengers to go through spotify while in my car, but it doesn't even have a search function that isn't voice....and you have to touch it still if you want to be able to find what you want, defeating the purpose. It really is just not worth the hassle or money even at $30 (it was originally $80). Id advise against it unless you want a glorified remote for a playlist just for pausing and playing music.

@Kevin Gonzalez well the wheel and pedals themselves are $250 and you can clamp them to any normal desk. I use the Logitech g920 for my wheel and a oculus quest 2 ($400) for any vr racing games. The rest of my setup is just a monitor, headphones, and a mic. I'm (somehow) able to run all of my games on a 1050 3gb (overclocked) core i5 with 16 gigs of ram.

I bought the Spotify Car Thing the moment it got released, and I'm honestly enjoying every second of it. The only downfall is, you can't leave it plugged in your vehicle because it could drain your vehicle battery. It hasn't happened to me, but I wanted everyone to be aware of what to expect if you did that.

@@GamingGD5600 I drive a 2008 Audi, and have a touchscreen rear view mirror that has 2 cams attached to it that displays the back and front of my car which is permanently plugged in to the ac outlet + an wireless phone charger that is also plugged in 24/7. I wfh so I only start it up maybe once every 2 days, and it's still been working fine for a long time now. Everything turns off, at least in my car when I turn off engine. Weird how they didn't make that a normal thing for all cars.

Spotify's Car Thing is such a missed opportunity. If only it had standalone Spotify, without needing to piggy back from your phone. You could then set it up in your bathroom, garage, living room connected to a Bluetooth speaker 24/7 to have a music station pretty much anywhere in your house. But needing to connect to your phone first is just completely stupid, and pointless. If only they thought bigger..

Also, the car I have is old and doesn't have apple car play so being able to use Spotify with that and not using spotify on my phone would be a game changer. Spotify is proving yet again that they are the superior music streaming service. Spotify > Apple music .
