I love your card & I really love the technique you used to reach the look you achieved in the end. That embossing folder was perfect to give a vintage vibe to your completed card. The card looks like something you might have pulled out of a box of vintage cards & decorations that you found in grandma's attic. What if you inked the paper first, then embossed it? Would that work? And, would that look any different?

You could try that, but you'd have to make sure the ink dried completely before embossing so that the embossing powder doesn't stick to areas you don't want it to.
