I was actually looking at night vision/ infrared binoculars/monoculars and they go for about $100-1,000+ depending on what you get. This is nice because it uses your phone for the camera and just gives you the thermal imaging. Awesome review Nater!

Hi Nater! How did you find this to work on plumbing? Do you think it would show potential water leaks behind tile walls? Thinking home inspections....

I can very clearly see the pipes when in direct view and see hot/cold. When looking thru a wall the hot water pipes show (I have hot water recirculation loop) but cant see the cold water pipes behind the wall. If there was cold water leak I would think it would show up. Wet spots on the floor clearly show up on the image.
