Hi Gloria, Yes, these techniques can work with polymer clay. Wanaree's textures work great with both metal clay and polymer clays. Thanks for your question!

Would love to see these textures used with Polymer Clay! Just substitute water for the oil as the resist on the texture plate, for assembly of the beads you mentioned you may need to semi-cure the pieces before combining them with a polymer clay glue.

Beautiful design! I didn't know that tubing could be bent like that without denting or collapsing! Does it need to be annealed first or will it work without?

Hello, with bending metal it's always best to anneal it; however it can be done without. The added wire inside makes the hollow tubing solid which prevents the tubing from kinking. Thanks for the question!

Hi- I purchased materials needed for these earrings from CoolTools. However, with regards to the ear wires and tube, the 20 g wire does not fit snugly inside of the tube. It is extremely loose fitting. Will that pose a problem in the future? I ordered the size that was recommended. Thank you!

Hi, we recommend using half hard tubing. The dead soft version will work for this project however, it will be more susceptible to dings when using to a forming plier or mandrel plier. Finishing the pieces in a tumbler will work hardened the silver and make it stronger. Either gauge of silver wire will work as long as the wire used will fit snuggly inside the silver tube.
