That's part of my problem with fanboys that constantly try to make things dark and gritty when it was a children's film or something. Things don't have to grow with you, let go of your fear of childhood, just enjoy it for what it is. The Little Prince was one of my favorite films of 2016(?). Fans claiming desperately that Rogue One was the first film for grown ups like them, was just embarassing, a lot more embarassing than just enjoying A New Hope for what it is.

That being said if you actually regularly do get these huge Lego sets it's actually quite a bargain, since Lego is expensive as hell (due to actually having quality as well as the additional copy right costs). So, not a big fan of Stuckmann. I actually know some people that know him IRL. And he's supposedly a real prick. I'm also not a fan of how he's taken things from Plinkett's reviews, and never cited/sourced them, or even mentions their work. And some of it is blatant (like not an homage, but straight up copying). But the clips used in this, are taken out of context. The difference between the other clips and the stuckmann one, is that these companies were paid to advertise this stuff. The Stuckmann video was his own personal stuff he bought, during Black Friday. I'm not saying the video isn't cringe. But IMO it's not really the same thing as the other videos (which are companies that exist to promote stuff). As far as I know, Stuckmann doesn't do those kind of things often (so that clip was taken from a one off episode, where he was showing off the stuff he got during his Black Friday run). The reason the other stuff is awful, is it comes off as soulless. It's straight up schilling. They are going through the motions, and playing up the whole "geek culture". I don't really get that vibe from Stuckmann at all, I think he actually is into that stuff, and likes to collect those things. But maybe I'm wrong. I don't like him, or his content. But from what I know, I don't really see him in the same category as the other sites. And I don't think RLM was parodying him. I mean hell, in the clip used, he's actually making fun of the people that flip out, when people don't open the box perfectly.

In the comics he’s the guy who assassinates Captain America after he surrenders at the end of civil war (and don’t come to me with that bullshit about “oh it was actually Shannon Carter that delivered the killing bullet” that was just bad writing all around).
@chasformer30916 жыл бұрын
Most of the villains from Civil War were pretty underwhelming. The movie was still good though, mainly because the trailers told us it'll be a hero vs hero movie. Zemo better get his iconic mask if he returns though.

RLM left one thing out of their satire.Where's the really hot chick, of a focus-group approved ethnicity, that is pretending not to be humiliated for associating with star wars and marvel fanboys. I'm a nerd but I'm a realist. That girl does not love star wars.

You should do a video on Bob Chipman aka moviebob. The guy is a total hypocrite. He praises every single mcu movie but has hated every dc movie that came out after the dark knight including the dark knight rises. He thinks most of the x men movies suck and feel like tv movies (even though most mcu movies are directed like tv shows). He used to praise zack snyder and even did a two part analysis of sucker punch but now has jumped on the bandwagon and thinks that snyder is horrible because of man of steel and bvs. In his deadpool review you could tell he felt reluctant to give it a good review (probably because its not an mcu movie) He constantly bashes bvs even when its completely unrelated to the movie he's reviewing. He liked the ghostbusters movie from last year. Oh and he constantly acts superior and condescending toward his audience by calling everyone racist and sexist (and I am a major liberal)
@TheAutistWhisperer7 жыл бұрын
Ian Levinson He listed all the flaws in that Ghostbusters remake that would warrant a lower score but still gave it a high score, he is a complete an utter toss pot. He will also give low scores to films that don't align with his politics, all at the behest of an ideology that pretty much hates everything and only exist to piss and moan. Fuck that corpulent golem and his ilk.

Huge RLM fan here, and I knew they were making fun of something, but wasn't aware that such shameless promotion channels existed. In fact, thank you Film Gob, for watching all that sell-out garbage for the rest of us so we don't have to. It's like watching a non-stop commercial. I'm sure RLM appreciates it too. If anything, you're only helping to push their point further. While hearing those advertisers talk, I feel like they don't mean half the things they say, and as a geek, it offends me.
