Friday 1-9-09 : Seeing Gran Torino / Meet Allie (Around the Town Vlog)

Today me M.J. and his girlfriend Allie all went to see the new clint Eastwood film Gran Torino and then gave our review of the film. After words we went out and got dinner.

Here, here! GREAT film! However, if it's in the area, I think they should see "Let The Right One In". By far the best film I've seen this year. If you're lucky enough to have it playing in your town or near you... check it out. One of the best vampire films EVER.

Nice. Thanks! There needs to be a petition put up online that says J.J. Abrams must cease production on his re-make of this film. Doesn't the fact that so many people, who were lucky enough to see it due to shitty distribution, put it on their "best list" tell the company that maybe they have the one in a million shot that the basic public would embrace a foreign film here? Every show I've been to (3 to be exact-- in NY and LA) have been comepletely sold out.

Goyer can’t write or direct for shit, just a quick correction the unborn isn’t a Japanese remake, it’s actually a project that Platnium dunes decided to do to try and get something original going, it has nothing to do with the Roger Corman movie Gran Torino I may check out next week, I haven’t had a lot of time recently to check out movies recently, because I’ve been working a new job recently. But tonight I’ll be checking out my bloody Valentine 3D can’t wait to check that out. Saw you just did a vid on that I’ll check it out after this, I’m trying to catch up on your videos been really busy with a new job. Looks like a fun night and Allie seems nice.
