Cooler Master HAF X Stealth DVD Drive Mod

Ok, this one is pretty awesome. Only problem is getting the bay open before windows boots if you need to install an OS or something similar. But I might have to try something like this with my 932 now :D

@lineriderSTi I mean the DVD Drive box not the panel. Like you push an button to secure the dvd drive, i cant do that because the haf x panel would stick out then.

@TheNc50 software using autohotkey, i have a macro bind to a code that opens and closes the drive. or you can just click eject

@lordmalachi6 its even better now lol. no stupid lego pieces and i have a piece of kneaded eraser between the button and the bay so i can just push the corner and have the drive opened :D

how do you get the drive itself to stand in its place with out it moving, my mod works fine but i cant secure the drive, do you have any tips or suggestions for me about how to solve it ?

this is ghetto. better than your last attempt, but that doesnt say much. Why not screw it in? super glue a piece behind the bay cover, or screw it in from the sides, then screw that to the dvd?

@94vian Oooh sorry Yeah I have that problem too, I just have a keyboard shortcut for ejecting And I have duct tape behind the drive xD
