These "over landing" type trailers are becoming increasingly popular. However, I wish U.S. manufacturers would incorporate more features seen in the Australian market, mainly because the Australian market is light-years ahead on R&D for off-road worthy trailers on a mass produced scale compared to the U.S. Big Truck Big RV - would you be able to review some Australian overland RV's? Trailers like the Conqueror UEV490, or Black Series HQ17 would be very cool for you to review because of their suspension setups, and each of those brands have a presence in the U.S. Heck, even a travel trailer or pop up from Kedron or MDC would be awesome to see you review. I'd love to hear your thoughts on frame/chassis used elsewhere in the world vs. Lippert. I'd also be excited to see you review trailering components like the Cruisemaster DO35 hitch on your buddy's R-pod.

I agree this is probably the nicest one of these that I've seen. Very well designed. Personally a little too small for me. For 8 years I owned a great little 14' trailer which was a Fun Finder T139 but they don't make them anymore. Over the past few years it seems like anything between 14-24' have almost all been discontinued (at least when it comes to Fun Finder).

Thanks for the suggestions but 3 years ago I sold that little T139 and upgraded to a 2015 22' Fun Finder which is a perfect size for the wife and I. I sold the trailer within one day for what I was asking for it and I still had 3 other guys that wanted it.

I'm getting the 12SRK version of this trailer for less than 13K. I'm getting a 3-way fridge, propane stove, grill, shower, water heater and 20,000 btu furnace. Also, an awning, roof mounted racks and solar panel, TV with DVD and the couch pulls out into a queen size bed. I could go on and on, but my point is - pay the extra $1,500 and get the 12SRK because you're getting about an additional 5k - 6k worth of accessories. The advantage of this RV is that I can pull it with my little Jeep Renegade into some very isolated areas (two-tracks) and I can boondock in comfort for weeks! I've looked at similar units for months and this is the best deal going right now.

One of the product lines I sell is Flagstaff. Couple things to add.. The EPro line is fully laminated with Azdel backing just like your Chaparral. It is equipped with torsion axles that carry a 10 year warranty and the mini fridge actually has a 600 watt inverter to run it if you are doing any dry camping. You should take a look at their other product lines. Their Superlite and Classic Superlite are some of the best built trailers on the market. (IMHO of course)

n update on thoughts of my own 2018 geo pro G12RK ... 2 year old camper... Drove from Missouri to Yellowstone Wyoming with it for vacation ... 1st day of vacation reached near Kearney Nebraska while driving on Interstate 80 when we hear a weird noise then pop goes passenger trailer tire... since we were on I80 first thought was to get off the interstate before something terrible happens.... changed tire... noticed spare tire was against camper body... we started moving smoke started... so we had to drive 5 mile an hour probably even slower for 9 miles to prevent other tire from exploding... stopped at gas station to investigate damage... noticed whole camper body moved to one side... only thing stopping it from totally coming off was the tire.. We had to ratchet tie down camper body... so we wasted 2 days fixing camper... But we did notice whom ever screwed floor to trailer frame over torqued screws as head of screws was like afew millimeters from trailer frame ... so we had to unnecessarily purchase drill.. drill bits... bolts.. plates... align trailer body to frame... and stay somewhere unplanned due to shoddy workmanship... (oh and while looking for a suitable location to bolt camper body down near kitchen found a bare wire under sink) then after that 3 days later the microware fell out... again due to shoddy workmanship... we plan to replace it with shelving too as we never used microware once... we felt we needed more storage... it kind of defied the purpose of being more organized... an upgrade from a tent almost felt the same as tent camping... still packing up into totes... cause why.. nothing really had a home... cause why no storage we installed a 25w solar panel on roof rack to help charge battery for fridge... it couldn't keep up with it... don't know if it was due to a faulty main battery power switch (this could be just wear and tear ... rest not excepted)... if you move wriggle red key it would start and stop invertor... supplied invertor is 700w... In my eyes this is a shoddy piece of workmanship by Rockwood

For those saying they wont pay $15k you wont as that number is pretty much retail and no one pays reatail on a travel trailer. If you look around these list for as low as 9k and honestly thats all they are worth quality wise and have seen a video of a guy who had the micro fall out of its opening from light dirt road travel. These are made to look the part of a off road teardrop but start looking at it closely and you will discover there is no way it will hold up to that abuse. I seriously considered this unit but being the cheap knockoff wood cabinets, ify frame when it comes to durability and exposed wood underbelly (though treated wood) as well as plumbing it was a no go for me. Hey got the layout right and yes these types of trailers have a purpose but this thing needs to be toughened up in my opinion.

I agree that the features this one comes with from the factory are great. 21st century tear drop.

Nice, but the Nucamp Tag seems to offer more features for a similar price, especially for with the XL model with the Boondock option.

It seems like a good idea.. but it seems really expensive for what you get. If you are inclined to doing building trades, you would be really better off just buying enclosed trailer and then outfitting it yourself. Then again, most people are not so for those people some of the premium cost does make sense.. its just that for what you get, its vary clear there is a markup on this product.

These are not bug out vehicles/trailers. They are overpriced, poorly crafted garbage units designed for millennials and others who want to throw away money without doing any real research into a recreational vehicle or "bugout" vehicle. Save your money, get something better. P.S; I wouldn't be caught dead towing that with my M998, I would however just invest in say a single axle trailer from Ruger out of Colorado, as the E-Pro here is going to run you about 12k without a head (bathroom); Whereas the Ruger trailers run you used 2-5k and new 5-7k.

whats funny about these trailers is they cost the same as the ones that are two times bigger and weigh only 700/1000 more, lots of teardrop companies with nice trailers for alot less money, and if your gonna live in a box for more then a week you would go nuts in a teardrop,i lived in a cabover camper for 6 months it sucked also a 16 foot travel trailer for a year both times were after my x left with kid and all the money

They should have put solar panels on top and made it self sustaining with electric heat and then it would had been worth 15k and would have been selling like crazy which I would buy and do myself if the price was around 7

It seems that there is a market for these at a lower price-point. Something comparable at 75-80% of price would be far more attractive to the segment looking at them.
