I’ve got it worse. I decided I didn’t want to be like that, so I decided I was only gonna do things that were actually good, and never for the rep. Then proceeded to suppress all knowledge of my desire for being seen doing good things, and became a monster who thinks he’s good. Now I’m trying to just embrace the fact I want people to see me doing good things. I think it’s healthier than just adding another layer of acting.

The way I see it is the people who are helped by those good deeds don't give a shit why you're doing it so don't let it bother you. Do you think the people being helped by charities are going to turn down the help because the person who donated money only did it to look good?
