Thank you for doing the math. And a real world review of the offroad performance. It costs a lot to go fast, and to go slow 😊

Ahaha exactly it costs a lot to do both

My man your channel is the best! I have a FJ Cruiser and because of you, I’m seriously considering getting a 2nd Gen Sequoia!

Really enjoying the Sequoia series videos!! What about cost of brakes? My OEM rotors are already warped with only 33”s on it. But then again you have really light rims. I’m running Icons, not so light.
@CoolGuyClub6 ай бұрын
That’s a really good point. I will say I’ve gone through two sets of rotors in 3.5 years so that’s just part of it I guess

@@CoolGuyClub Did you go with Powerstop each time?

I have power stops all around and no issues. I had OEM rotors and lasted 6 months

I have a 2013 on 35s and I’ve been looking for any bigger gas tank options… have you looked into this and have you had any luck?
@CoolGuyClub6 ай бұрын
I actually haven’t but I my gut says we could probably make a tundra one work.
@wagz_madness6 ай бұрын
I have looked and looked and not found anything. I have been told the tundra tank is not possible to "retrofit". If you find one post it!!!!
@CoolGuyClub6 ай бұрын
I will for sure. I wonder if I can work something out with long range.

@@CoolGuyClub That would be killer. Literally the only thing I don’t like about the Sequoia is the fuel tank size.

Good looking rig, but I had to lol when you were on a rant about cheap chinese tires but then do a spacer lift kit. lol
@CoolGuyClub6 ай бұрын
The rear “airbag spacer” is the only thing offered for the plati boys. The front is a true coil over. If there’s something offered that’s better I’ll do it.

im trying to purchase a used 2022 toyota sequoia. Last year for the V8 of course. All the ones I've found for sale are old rental cars are they worth the $40k+ plus? thank you.
@CoolGuyClub6 ай бұрын
Old rentals no! However there are plenty of 2018-2022 (same exact rig) for you to choose from.

Do you carry a spare tire with 37s?
@CoolGuyClub3 ай бұрын
I do not carry a spare. Just plugs and patches.
@ftbstrd136 ай бұрын
Did you reprogram the speedo for the 37s? If not, you mileage is likely 5-10% higher than calculated.
@CoolGuyClub6 ай бұрын
That’s a really good point!! Thank you for telling me that. No I have not reprogrammed the Speedo
@ftbstrd136 ай бұрын
@@CoolGuyClub I had the same reaction when switching to 275s. The GPS speed/mileage is about 5% better than the computer. I'm sure there is an impact, but it's definitely not as bad as you think. One additional question. Appreciate your review on racks and have steered away from Victory toward the Gobi Open Sky. Adding a Roofnest RTT. My question is about the RTT. Dumb question, but are you able to use automated car washes?

@@ftbstrd13 where do you get it reprogrammed?
@ftbstrd1316 күн бұрын
@@robbyrne254 i believe Technicians with Techstream Software can adjust for wheel/tire size. Hypertech also makes a speedometer calibrator as well. For me, it's not that big of a deal to spend the money and time to correct.
