He is basically saying that he thought that he's equal to all Guyanese, but he just realized that he's not. because he went to Buxton and Kingston and they only referred to him as a coolie boy. I don't go around saying nigga girl or nigga boy. so he accepted what Guyanese sees him as.

Oh wow thanks for the explanation. It's a cultural thing. I asked a coworker what "Coolie" meant and he whispered, "It's kind of like saying..." and I jumped in, "Ni**er?" He said yes. I said, "Oh! It's the equivalent of the N word." I totally get it now. It's meant to be derogative.

@@ChannelZero1031 @Channel Zero Coolies are low caste Indians from India. Historically the Indians that were transported to Guyana and the Caribbean were from low castes and coolies (Indians). They weren't missed hence why the English were able to easily get them to work on the sugar plantation as indentured labourers. Hope this helps.

@@sksjsjem6493 Just in case this is a serious question:- (1) Proper Definition -- Coolie is a term for luggage-carriers (also menial-workers??) in India. Dunno if it's still used today. (2) Colloquial Definition:- a mainly non-offensive term for East-Indian people in the Caribbean region. U can google for further or modernised info; just in case I'm not up to speed 🙃

The Word Coolie is actually Offensive to People of Indian Origin. Guyanese Governments and other Govrnments of the Caribbean should have addressed This Issue after these Countries got their Independence but did not seek to Ban this Word. Its Insulting and Embarrassing to describe people of Indian Origin as Coolie
