Hash house a go-go is one of the best breakfasts. I hope you take advantage of a player’s card and comped nights. You spend enough they should be taking care of you. You can find what the rates and taxes are to list for viewers without needing to spend $175 a night at the linq. I wouldn’t. Also, pro tip- the Wyndham business earner card will get you matched tier status with Caesar’s. Diamond will get you waived resort fees. MGM will match your Caesar’s status too. Also, start charging everything to your room. You’ll get points for spending. On your last night call the host to evaluate your play. Even if they just comp some pool drinks that’s still money saved. Thanks again for the great content. I’m looking forward to see where you’re staying next!

@@keeganlamotte1489 well, perhaps not. But I’m talking about more than pool drinks. However, when drinks are $32 each having them comped could save well over a $100. My next stay the rate is $250 a night. I will have the entirety comped along with whatever I get comped by a host along with food and beverage credits. I’ve spent $40 on a drink run too, but I still appreciate saving where I can.

@@timk1480 I agree with you, but I’m saying he’s not the average person going to Vegas 1-2 times a year On vacation. He’s been to several hotels back to back over the course of a month. He also shows the cost breakdown of each hotel to inform viewers. It’s not a “here’s ways to save money in Vegas” type of content. So, You’re doing too much. He has a KZbin channel with over 30,000 subscribers and clearly he has the money to stay in Vegas for 30 days straight and eat and drink lavishly. Then you come on here and tell him “pro tips” and how he can save money . 🤣🤣 too funny

I love the Linq! But lately, the Flamingo has been edging them out on rates. Yah yah I know- they're both Caesar's Properties. One other thing- I never go June, July or August. I go midweek spring or fall & the rates are much better! If not, I stay downtown OR don't go! Take my advice, friends, let your money do the talking. The hotel/casinos feel that when enough of us act together and respond w rate adjustments, upgrades & comps.

Yeah, I was booked 4 nights at the Luxor like over a year ago. It was 511. This was Wed-Sun. I rebooked it almost a year later before the Raider schedule got released and booked for 3 nights for 408 (had weekday comps I wanted to use). If I try to book those same nights now, its close to 900 dollars. Lesson here is book way ahead, make sure its refundable, and keep events in mind. You can save about 50-60% if you book at the right time

While fancy expensive cocktails aren't the drinks for me, I like your appreciation of the Vegas bars' bespoke drinks and cocktails and your appreciation of their service with generous tips. I hate when travelers plan trips and just leave tips mostly or entirely off the budget thinking they'll save a few bucks by stiffing their bartenders and waitstaff, or leave tips out of the budget hoping they'll score a big jackpot and then share the wealth afterwards. You just can't do that. You definitely have to factor in decent tips for food, service and room cleaning/service wherever you go, and only leave less than the standard if you truly had substandard service that merits it. If you can't afford 20% tips for all your meals and drinks during your trip, and if you can't afford to tip your table games dealers and $2 tips for your cocktail waitresses, then you need to either adjust your budget elsewhere accordingly or keep saving up for the trip. Be good to the staff who are good to you and who are doing their best to cater to you and make your trip special.

Another excellent vid. Really appreciate your straight up /honest reviews. Because u are not being comped & paying cash your subs get 100% honest review. Too many Vegas KZbinrs recieve free rooms free meals & are not straight forward because they do not come clean & say that their entire stay is comped. I’m not saying they are not honest but casinos give them free everything expecting positive advertising in return. One channel was in shock after spending 300 at bellagio steakhouse then the same couple was happy as a clam at resorts steakhouse 700.00 dinner !! They were ordering expensive everything like they just won lottery :) Your channel is growing & I only hope that if u do accept free rooms & food that u let us know. 😎👍✌️

Also James: I'm going to go off on a limb here and boldly predict the last two featured stops on your Heroic Vegas Trip will be........................(drum roll)..........................Palms and Resorts World. I'm going to assume you're ruling out Circus Circus, Excalibur and Rio until they undergo major renovations and/or re-branding. I suppose the Tropicana is a possibility especially considering its long history and rumors it's becoming the new Bally's soon, but I'm skeptical. I can definitely see you go to more downtown Las Vegas resorts like the D, 4 Queens and the English on subsequent trips but I have the feeling you're only doing one downtown resort per trip because of how Fremont Street-centric pretty much all of them are. And while I definitely think you'll review Red Rock, Green Valley Ranch and Sam's Town in the near future, I feel you're aiming to more or less finish off the Strip this go-round at least until the Fontainebleu, Dream, Majestic and whatever is being built on the former Hawaiian Marketplace land are opened. =) I guess a fresher Waldorf Astoria review is also a possibility considering how long it's been since you initially revealed there, but I've said it: Palms and Resorts World are my guesses. =)

I have 6 days booked at Bally's in late August, Resort Studio 1 King, for $1088.00 which seems reasonable to me. I booked it like 2 months ago. When I was in Vegas last year at the Rio for 7 days, it was $1255.00 for putrid quality. I'm hoping this year will be better. I attend a certain convention in Vegas every year so I tend to stay in the hotel where it's being held.

The polarization between weekday (Sunday afternoon-Friday morning) and weekend (Friday afternoon-Sunday morning) room rates in Vegas has gotten insane. @.@ I feel like you best highlighted the contrast in your Luxor cost rundown: where most of your trip resided on the weekend but the final day was only like $30. And when looking at rates for a forthcoming trip myself this autumn, it was the exact same story: weekday rates even at places like Caesar's Palace and Vdara were in the double digits nightly, but over $300/nightly Friday afternoon-Sunday morning. O__O Fortunately with many Vegas clubs having shows mid-week and Sunday evenings as someone who loves the nightlife especially in Vegas, I can still get an optimal Vegas experience Sunday-Thursday so I'll just primarily plan trips Sunday-Friday morning typically. Great content as always! =)

If booking to stay in the fall, avoid Raiders home game weekends. Check their schedule. When they play a home game, hotels raise prices astronomically high.

How do you book your rooms (rewards program, directly with the property, Expedia) ?

Yeah, 30$ for Ja Burritos is insane. I get the soft shell crab is expensive and all, but considering that a Soft Shell Crab Fried Rice at Lemongrass is 34 at a sit down thai restruant in the Aria . . . . . Idk how anyone will choose 2 servings of soft shell crab with fried rice vs one gimmick sushi burrito for 30$. Thanks for letting me know Ja Burritos is huge rip off.

Yikes on the room rates. I’m glad I don’t like people or partying lol. I go during the week, barely gamble but I have a card and get comped rooms. Last time I went was Mon-Thursday and it was like $220 total for a double Queen. I could have gotten double King too for the same, but the Queen is big enough and I don’t care for views or anything cause I don’t stay up n the room for that. Oh yeah, that was without the $19 a day parking that they didn’t tell me about so they waived that fee

That is too bad about the Cake cafe pizza. It looked good and that style is pizza i really like. Nevada needs to make resort fees illegal. I get there will be no discount in rooms because they will just raise the rooms 50 bucks a night but it needs to be a flat advertised rate. You think your room is worth 250 a night, you charge 250 a night. NOt 200 plus a 47 dollar a night resort fee.

Take an Uber off the strip ($10-$15) and you can find great restaurants for half the cost. Do your research and you can enjoy Vegas for much less. Plenty of videos on KZbin showing where to go...eating in these resorts is just a waste of money.
