Thanks for this stroll down memory lane. I emigrated to America in 1990 at the age of 25. I was born and raised in Coolock. I went to Chanel College. My younger sister went to mercy College. My older sister went to St. John of Gods and my brother went to Coláiste Dhúlaigh. My boyhood friends both worked, and I believe one still does, in Cadburys. I heard that that mound in Cadburys was a fairy mound. I still remember being woken up by the screams of my neighbour who had knocked on our door at about 5am the morning of the Stardust fire. Both her sons were there, and there was still no news about what had happened to them. Thank god they were alright. RIP all those who died.

I was born and raised in Coolock (in the Priorswood area), went to secondary school in Chanel College, and passed Cadbury's most days. I never realized that about the mound in there (we were told it was a faery hill), so this is a nice trip down memory lane. I hope to get back there for a visit soon. Thanks for that!

He doesn't make fun of the stardust, he makes reference to the crowd and who sees themselves as young, i imagine the crowd is quite old, so there is no young people hence the laughing.
