In this video, Karen creates a fine silver frog pin using FS999 Fine Silver Clay and our Ribbit Ready Mold. She fires the scattered pin in place. Once the piece is sintered and polished, she then applies enamel using the wet packing method. This is a great project for all levels of metal clay artists and enamelists!

Yes, you can torch fire enamels. Check out our video on how to torch fire enamels here: cooltools.us/collections/torch-firing-enamels-by-karen-trexler If you would like to torch fire the silver clay, you'll need a torch fireable silver clay such as Phoenix Torch Fireable Clay. Hope this helps!

Does anyone struggle with the fine silver clay jewellery tarnishing after some time?

Hello, any fine silver will naturally tarnish over time. You can keep it in anti tarnish bags or with anti tarnish tabs to prevent this process, or simply polish when it does happen. Hope this helps!

The silver microparticles are in the clay. The clay burns away and leaves the silver shape.
