Was the glycerin used instead of an adhesive because (1) inability to repeat Ms Harrell's usual 3-time spray and sift of enamel, and (2) to keep the stencil from sticking?

i can you tell me how I can stop getting trivet marks when I counter enamel the marks are from where the piece touches the trivet Thanks
@cooltoolsvideos2 жыл бұрын
Hi John, you'll want to use scalex. This prevents fire scale. You can find it here: www.cooltools.us/Scalex-1-oz-p/enl-015.htm

Can these pieces be torch fired?
@cooltoolsvideos5 жыл бұрын
Hi Suzanne, yes, these pieces can be torch fired. The Enameling Squares do not distribute heat as readily as copper; you will need to make sure to heat the piece evenly and come out to the corners to get them to fuse. If you are applying enamel to the black side of these squares (back) and using a torch to heat the white side, you can expect some slight graying of the white coating. Hope this helps, thanks for watching!
