Depends on how close the camera is to the action and it's perspective vantage point. Though I suspect it would struggle.

It really is mind blowing to me just how far consumer level audio and video equipment has come in the mad 25 years alone. I’ve got four different camera I use for my channel currently which is way overkill. My main camera though is a Sony A7SIII and a couple different lenses.

Can also control with a PTZ Joystick and with multiaction buttons and a Stream Deck.

When you have to setup a StreamDeck for a client because their nice ATEM Advanced Panel can't control it (despite it having an SDI port), that realization is a lot sadder.

I'm a pro AV engineer and bought these for a client install. Needed pro grade equipment, saw the features, and while they're cheaper than other competitors in this space, they were expensive enough to assume they had the pro-grade parts they look like they have. Pro AV lives on SDI. This SDI port does nothing. It's 3G, so not capable of 4K, and took me hours of chat support to get full confirmation that you can not control PTZ over SDI. If you're a gaming streamer in a small room and want to spend a lot of money, I suppose it could work (spring for the 30x, it looks much clearer in low light than the 12x). If you're a pro needing this to work like a pro camera, spend the extra dough on the industry standards.

The sensor isn't capable of anything past 1080p60 so why would they go above a 3G SDI port? And why wouldn't you plum a network connection to the camera? The industry has completely adopted a variety of networking protocols. PTZOptics has been around a long time, they make some of the best cameras in the price point they target.

I’m in the market for a camera, but I’m leaning towards a Canon Mirrorless lol

I would advise Sony over Canon. I used canon for years but they purposely nerf and hold features back on many of their models where Sony doesn’t. I converted over to Sony two years ago for all my mirrorless cameras and it was a great decision for me looking back now

@@cooltoy I’ve been a Canon guy for over 20 years, and had been using a Canon 7D for the last 12 years, so I ended up buying a Canon R6 MK II
