I cant tell you it gets easier with each day that passes cause i would be lying to you. My son who was 15yrs old committed suicide the day after my birthday in July 2020. I still sit and wait for him to come down the hill on his wheeler. I keep a bat by the door and about once a week i go out to my woods and i hit one of the trees that the tornado took down and i scream, yell, cuss, cry, and fall to my knees. I just keep telling myself that every day i open my eyes is one more day closer to being with him and my pa and my fiance. I lost all 3 and everything i own and my home in the last 3 years. Just remember grief has no time limit. You dont owe anyone an explanation for your tears or bad days or staring out to nothing or not talking. You don't have to pick up and answer every phone call or text message. And if they truly care they will just let you know that they are there and will be there for when you are ready. I relive it every morning i open my eyes and throughout the day and night and sometimes i cuss god for letting me open my eyes the next morning cause i beg him every night to take me cause im ready right now. I don't know the circumstance and i don't need to know thats your business. I will however keep you in my prayers and thoughts. Just please remember that you don't owe anyone an explanation and theres no time limit and you grieve how you need to darling!! Much love from Western Ky!

I heard this song and it’s helped me so much for healing. I lost my dad two years ago. He was my everything. This is so perfect for him. He was so generous with everybody. He made everybody laugh. He was all around. Good guy. He was a good biker guy, he started a bike club. It is still there. They’ve got four chapters now he was a legacy. God I love him so much.

I lost my girlfriend back in June. She was adorable. She always made a kissy face in pictures or a smile that lit up the whole world. She was taken way too soon. She was 24. She was the love of my life. And I promised her I’d love her forever. And I still do. She was everything to me and I loved her so much. I used to cook for her and she would cook for me. I would make steaks and she loved them. She would make fiesta salad with beef and Fritos chips and lettuce with croutons. I loved it when she made that. I loved her.

I played your "short" video of this song on October 7 th for my husband because we always watched your mashups together and we loved them. Then on October 8th, he dropped dead on the ice during his hockey game. I couldn't listen to this song for months. Now I'm finding comfort in it and I'm going with a friend to your concert at the Grizzly Rose in Colorado on February 16th. You're amazing. I wish nothing but great things for you. 😭😭😭💔. I was my Momma's full time caregiver. She got dementia. She passed on September 10, 2023. So only 3 months now. I miss her everyday! These "Firsts" without her are extremely difficult! Merry Christmas in heaven Momma. I love & miss you!

I feel u I'm so sry an the 1st ohhhh it's hard I lost both my parents a month apart I loved my mamma but my daddy was my heart an soul this yr 2024 it was 3yrs for him on Jan 14th an 3 yrs for her Feb 19th my parents were together over 50 yrs an they were still so in love an they were each other's everything they both put their kids grandkids n great grandkids 1st they just really loved their family im having a very hard time today 😢 God bless
