I hate the sound too. Because i have sensory disorder i like the voice one better than the horn ones. Even i get seizures from the strobe lights it's better than the horn l guess. Plus the strobe lights is like when i had to get EEG done it measures my brain waves and monitor my seizure activity.

They used to give me the option go outside when emergency drills began or go to the alarm panel room to help conduct the fire alarm test/fire drill in elementary school. 1:33 That's something else I was able to do. Go into the special ed's time out room (no horn, only the strobe) and scream and yell until the fire drill began. The room was sound proof, so nobody else heard my yelling and screaming.... and sometimes cursing.
