I played with Cooper's grandfather at Nokomis back in the day. I'm 66 and never thought I'd see a prospect from my home town, Newport, ME. Love Cooper's attitude - "I just play my game'. Thanks, Dan

His confidence without being arrogant is remarkable for his age.

That could also be a "grew up in the middle of nowhere" thing. Im from southern Maine and it's two different worlds to where this kid grew up haha
@chrisaustin4115 Жыл бұрын
@Matt-lk8ys growing up in the middle of nowhere more often leads people to big fish small pond God complexes, than it does humbleness. So that seems unlikely. You never know though, depends on the area and his parents more than anything

@chrisaustin4115 have you ever met a home schooled person that acted a little "different" because of a lack of social interaction? That's how pretty much everyone in the part of the state he's from is

Dan did the best he could. You are not going to get anything interesting from a 16 year old in an interview.

I thought it was VERY interesting how calm, poised and even keel the kid was. I think THAT said it all.

My friend told me Cooper was kind of a wannabe, and not that theres anything really wrong about that, but I dont hear that at all. He seems like an intelligent and real person that I imagined he was. Am I wrong on this?

Cooper will be great if he doesn't let getting swatted a few times by better leapers get him down, and keeps playing as aggressively as he did in high school.......he's got good leaps now, but it's not like Mike or Lebronze or anything, so he will get rejected on some of those dunks.......hopefully, his leaps get even better though, that would help.
