Absolutely. You can tell from all of them there parents did a great job raising them all. Arch has clearly had great examples growing up.

I’ll always remember, many years ago, when they asked Archie how it felt having two of his sons bring in Super Bowl rings while his oldest son, Cooper, had never done anything at that capacity. And he responded proudly, “Cooper has gifted me something neither of my other sons have given me and that’s grandchildren!” He was referring to Arch. Now he’s in college. Funny how time flies

More like the Kardashians of Football. Plenty of scandal to go around for all 3 of them. If Peyton didn’t teabag that trainer at Tennessee you would have seen Archie throw a fit about who could and couldn’t draft both of his son’s. Not too mention they have no problem bringing that whole thing back up, dragging that poor girl’s name back through the headlines, and pitching her 100k every time because they don’t care at all about that $$

Cooper was a standout HS & College WR. Had he have not been diagnosed with a spinal condition, he likely would have been in the Pros. Glad to see he did not let that setback dictate his life.
@dionbruton2404 күн бұрын
He didn't get injured playing football, he was diagnosed with spinal stenosis which ended his playing days.

@ I corrected my wording…thanks. Some still call it an injury but I see it more as a diagnosis or condition.

Not about Coopah (I went to Texas) but great interview as always. I remember a long time ago, the SB was in NOLA and my partner and I were there on business. We walked into I think it was the Marriott and saw a sign, ESPN Show, Dan Patrick and Joe Theismann. So we wandered in, had a few drinks. Dan and Joe were really friendly and just a great time. So wanted to say Thanks Dan! Not sure where Joe is these days, but good times, good memories.

great advice about players picking the right college. in an ideal world that’s how you’d want your own son to do it. however with the lure of NIL cash most players don’t have that luxury. they need to support their families and no guarantees they make it to the NFL.

Coop seems a little disconnected tbh…. While he mentions everyone has their own situation he doesn’t seem to grasp that a good majority of these kids come from impoverished backgrounds. If they have enough talent to be at one of those big programs they can go to the highest bidder, still get top notch coaching against the best competition, and shove a bunch of money in their pockets at the same time. The Mannings haven’t ever had to make any decisions based on financial need. Sure they make financial decisions but that family has generational wealth and so their lives are so completely different when it comes to money decisions even if they play on the same stretch of grass on Saturday. The NCAA should have stream lined the process. Now it’s a free for all and the biggest programs with the deepest pockets are recruiting kids from lesser programs after they’ve exhibited their talent, on top of getting the vast majority of top recruits throughout the country.
@markDwattssr19 сағат бұрын
I’m not a hater, I’m a football fan first and foremost, I appreciate the talent and hard work it takes to play at that level. The Mannings have a great recipe for success to be sure.

Can we get a break from the Manning Bros?
@juletraylor58294 күн бұрын
he is saying that about the money, but you gotta realize that a lot of the kids in college , unlike arch manning, don't have any money nor does their family. so the money means a lot to many of the players and their family. if arch doesn't play another game, he is gonna be set financially because his family has money. im not tryin to be down on arch I think he is gonna be great. be for most, the money is a ticket out of poverty.
@Hmbre973 күн бұрын
I think he kind of addressed that at the very beginning of what he said by acknowledging that lots of people are in different situations. There are definitely going to be instances where letting money be the main deciding factor is the driver of the decision because it means supporting your family back home or other hardships. There are a good number of athletes that make it to college on raw talent but on the other side of the coin, a lot of these athletes come from money also. A lot of these kids are talented because they've played since they were little kids (which costs money), they've been able to work with trainers (which costs money) and now once they get in school, they get money from the school outside of NIL. Gone are the days of the starving athlete that can't get proper nutrition or whatever else they need.
@gregjohnson63293 күн бұрын
Ask the third wheel Manning about his brother P and that time Peyton strutted into the end zone of that trainer’s face with his sad Mississippi Baal sack of assault. Allegedly. This family is the OG of grift for life.

And he is known for? Nothing. Talk about milking your 15 minutes in the spotlight.
@theycallmehoipilloi18674 күн бұрын
The whole Manning family has said for years that he was actually the best football player in the family. He was a highly regarded WR that was going to play at Mississippi until it was discovered that he had spinal stenosis and had to quit. He has plenty of football knowledge and has a great personality, which is more than a lot of people in the business. Sure his name carries a lot of weight, but sooner or later you have to produce, which he does. He's fun. Good for him.
@GeorgeConner694204 күн бұрын
