No doubt about it! Brother Faris, as a person who grew up in bidaah society, i questioned a lot about it in my life. Until i realised what i was doing and searching for was the way of the salaf. There and then i knew this was the way of the truth. We hold firm to our beliefs from the Quran and Sunnah and we dont accept not associate with people of Bidaah. I have also witnessed what you said about ppl claiming salafi but they are takfeeri. I ask الله keep us steadfast upon the haqq of this deen, Islam. Amin. (I was in Makkah & Madinah last week and i wanted to meet you but i also did not want to miss the salah in the Haram Madina). إن شاء الله we can meet one day.

I stay away from ahlul bidah. They tend to be violent to the ahlusunnah
@E.Cerulean8 ай бұрын
This is the new manhaj of the western "duaat" & "shuyukh" . As a result now most lay muslims are confused & go to extremes ; either liberalism, relativism (every opinion is a valid opinion, every sect is correct, there is no right and wrong)(probably ikhwanism) or takfirism. It's very sad.
@jona72008 ай бұрын
Is any scholar that doesnt align with your manhaj considered ahlul bidah? Are ashariyya scholars considered ahlul bidah? How can we then reconcile the fact that many scholars and even hadith scholars such as nawawi was ashariy? Should we not narrate from them? Not take from them? Which people is Faris refering to? Only crazy sufis? These are honest questions.
@E.Cerulean8 ай бұрын
An Nawawi was not ash'ari, he had ash'ari tendencies. Many scholars like Ibn Uthaymeen explained his book (Sharh). Stay away from Ash'ari (they don't believe that Allah is above His Throne as He said Himself, they don't believe in many of his attributes like His hands, etc), stick to those who are in accordance with Quran&Sunnah with understanding of the salaf (Al Albani, Ibn Uthaymeen, Al Fawzan, As-Suhaymi, Wasiullah Abbas etc)
@jona72008 ай бұрын
@@E.Cerulean What about Ibn AlJawzi the great Hanbali scholar which also had ashariy tendencies? Shall we cancel him too? Off course what Faris is saying is correct, but who do we apply «bidah» and the cancelling to? Any scholar that dissagrees with our own Manhaj? I don’t think thats fruitful and It’s not bidah to be ashariy, thats dangerous to say. If it’s not bidah to be ashariy then it’s also not bidah do dawah according to that manhaj. Also, if one type of dawah leads multitudes of people to Islam, to imaan, to Allah and on haqq. How can we say it’s a callamity? I am sincere in my questions and I am not trying to seek discord.
@E.Cerulean8 ай бұрын
@@jona7200 "shall we cancel him too?" I just told you An Nawawi is Ahl Sunnah and we learn from him. It's not bidah to be ashari ?? You think it's correct to say that Allah is everywhere and not above the heavens, among other things? A'udhubillah. All the salaf were athari, not this new sect called ash'arism. Watch the video "ashari are jahmi" The founder of asharism Himself repented from that deviance. And al-Ash'ari said in the book of his "al-Ibanah Fi Usul id-Diyanah" in the chapter of "al-istiwaa": And if one says: What do you say regarding al-istiwaa? It is said to him: We say that Allaah is ascended over His Throne, just as He said, "ar-Rahman has ascended the Throne", and He said, "The goodly word ascends up to Him", and He said, "Nay, He raised him (Eesaa) up to Himself" & this is my last comment.
@E.Cerulean8 ай бұрын
@@jona7200 Oh lastly, please don't be deceived by the asharis. Ibn Al Jawzy made some mistakes, but he was a huge Ash’ari detractor. Even Ibn Kathir stated: “Ibn al-Jawzi mentions in this year in al-Muntadham, the death of al-Ash’ari, where he spoke ill of him, disparagingly in accordance with the habitual criticisms by the Hanbalis directed towards the Ash’aris, past and present" [Ibn Kathir, Al-Bidaya wal-Nihaya 11/206, Maktabat al-Ma’arif Beirut] And again An Nawawi was not ashari : "It is said: We believe that the Merciful is established over the Throne, and we do not know the reality of the meaning of this nor what is meant by it (la na`lamu haqiqata mi`na dhalika wa al-murada bihi), while we do believe that “There is nothing like Him whatsoever” and that He is exalted far above the most elevated of created things. That is the way of the Salaf or at least their vast majority, and it is the safest because one is not required to probe into such matters." [Sharh al-muhadhdhab:]
@jona72008 ай бұрын
@@E.Cerulean jazakallahukhayr. But from what I understand, ashariy is not a new thing and a lot of their aqeedah is based on the earliest books we have on aqeedah Abu Hanifa’s al fiqh al akbar. Also, most ashariys I have heard they agree with all points you make above, the only difference is they would make statements such as Allah is not a jism ( such as abu hanifa said in the book ). Or Allah does not exist in time and place (location). Or that Allah is immaterial. But even this is enough for salafi scholars to say that it’s innovation to use such words, because they uphold Taymiyas understanding... Allah knows best, may he guide me to the truth and whats’s best with certainty.

I am confused. First of all forgive me if this offends anyone in any way, but, Isn't the same logic applicable to co-operating and sitting down with the kuffars? Will the youth not get confused when muslim rulers who we need to obey, will build temples? I agree with you that we have to keep mum and obey the ruler but promoting kufr is much worse than sitting down with people of bid'ah (mostly people don't promote bid'ah when they sit with them). But if the point is about youth getting confused, then the pictures of muslims laying foundations of a huge temple wearing thobes confuses me more.
