I seem to recall that if the 5-6 sensor towers are spread out evenly through the map, it scans much faster. When I would hover the mouse over the sector in question, I could see the scan boost from the nearby tower.

You’re right in that six sensor towers will give the maximum disaster warning, but I also don’t have access to a lot of those other plateaus right now. Soon though.

@@SteveTAGamer Waiting for episode 3 :) That kind of activity (terraform to get access, put up towers, scan anomalies) is so difficult to do once there are colonists--it really pins downs the drones and you need a commander AND a transport.

Officers are probably quite good as you can do convert ops right away to recurit conlonists. Also I think max difficulty loses significant amounts of difficulty when automated systems is a thing

in 6:52 @SteveTAGamer have rotated large wind turbine. Is it new change that they can be rotated or is it some mod?

I think the change came with Below & Beyond. I don’t believe it’s a mod.

@@SteveTAGamer it has to be one of the updates/bugfixes that came with breaking ground. I own all DLCs but breaking ground and no mods and I've just realised I can rotate it too.

I wanna buy the game, but don't care for you telling us that this (or that) resource is located here (and there) before ever finding it. By doing that you are removing the thrill of discovery and weakening replay-ability. Maybe you should have said that there were spoilers in your video. Its kind of like save-scumming, in my opinion. I'm not certain that I want to watch any more.

This map has the same coordinates I played in the series immediately before this one, and was about 10 hours into it before the new DLC was released. That’s the only reason I remembered the locations.
