COORDINATION COMPOUNDS --I (SOME IMPORTANT TERMS & IUPAC NOMENCLATURE OF COORDINATION COMPOUNDS)

1.cyanide ligand in IUPAC system can be named as cyanido or cyano both are correct.
2.Hydrogen as ligand is always taken as anionic ligand and named as hydrido.
3.The coordination complexes in which the complex ion is not very stable , dissociate to simple ions .
