Great battle! I love Coors Banquet, it's an outstanding brew for me...I definitely taste the slight banana notes which I enjoy. Very smooth, great tasting.

As a son of the south living in the south (Georgia) I have to say my palate prefers Pabst Blue Ribbon over Coors Banquet Beer. Coors has a banana flavor. PBR has a slightly more hoppy flavor. I prefer PBR.

For me ... depends. At night, Coors fits the bill. After a Summer's morning, clipping hedges and removing the odd weeds and lawn mowing, put tools away and green trash where it belongs ... an ice cold PBR is my go to lawn beer. So like you I like Coors-Blue Ribbon.😄

Coors Banquet is the sweetest american lager I've ever had. Must be different taste buds in different countrys

Coors banquet is still an actual brewed beer where budweiser is simply beer flavored seltzer water now as is Coors light. Miller lite as well and they even use a foaming agent like soap. The beer companies switched to this flavored seltzer water formula to cut calories/carbs and to allow for any flavor on top of the beer flavoring agent as well like lime. Shiner beer is one of the few actual breweries left that makes/uses legit fruit in the brewing process other than the micros of course.

Two of my favourite beer I just drink ppr more because it’s a lot cheaper and here in Ontario Canada it’s made by sloth Canada same company as sleeman brewery cheers Jordan buddy

Both of these (along with a couple others) are hands down my go-to beers. I think PBR sometimes gets a bad rep especially for being a cheaper beer, but it just tastes like beer to me which is really all I care about and it gets the job done.

Coors is a meh beer. It has a bread taste which is good. But after a few sips, it becomes unbearable, and such a chore to finish the can. The PBR was actually decent and I was able to finish the can without without it feeling like a chore. I had these beers out of curiosity only once and in a tall can.

Pasbt if I'm having one, coors if I'm getting crunk. Whichever ingredient(s) in pbr feels heavier on my gut. Not budweiser heavy but noticeable after the second tall boy

@scarharting5577 I like the taste more, but my gut doesn't agree with it. Hence, if I'm having one, I'll take the pabst over the coors. Read comprehension, bud And I haven't had a drink since that month. The youtube alcohol review stuff in the feed is sad and only serves to fuel your compulsion to drink. I feel bad for the dudes who could never manage to channel their tism into something productive

Coors for the win, again! When you said beer #2 had a hoppier finish, I knew it was the PBR. I find that PBR is very similar to MHL. Both have a hoppier finish and both pour a foamy head
