I was at this event. Rivers has been my favorite crew in a while, so to see them reppin in Seattle, was super crazy. To travel this far and imo won and got judged as a loss was kinda whack. I remember hearing the crowd booing after the decision. Iron Monkey vs Kmel was dope, but Rivers vs Boogie Brats for the finals woulda been very special and memorable too. I was super excited at this event and they gave out some cool headphones ha. Born and Physicx, sorry yall, Seattle let yall down, no disrespect to the other breakers tho, i just love Rivers and especially the Born + Physicx dynamic duo and flow. Would be awesome if Physicx was still reppin with born at that recent Groove Session battle, but Naughty 1 and the other younger Rivers crew is still dope, and still getn robbed kinda ha. Im just bias maybe cuz i think their style is great.

No way to describe it, his simplicity and the way he expresses simple and certain moves with music is timeless. Today you will see that in bboys like king so. flip side kings took it, i mean, its a close battle, and you had to expect flip side to edge out a little bit, lego and tells have been dancing longer and help created the scene, not to take nothing away from rivers. im pretty sure rivers help build their scene too, but lego and tells were doing it at a time when bboying was dieing... any waz.. FSK came with more energy in their movements, it looked like rivers was relaxed and wasn't even trying to put much of a fight, i mean, i seen born, done

i have to say borns first set and the routine which physicx capped off nicely were the best rounds but lego and rebirth looked like they had it for 3/5 rounds, those 2 rounds were good enough to give the win to rivers for me though.

It was pretty close but from watching this Physicxs first round was very sloppy. Other then that Rivers was doing great. Lego and Rebirth had good sets as well but seriously they didn't match the technicality or flavour of Rivers. On the other hand they had great musicality.

Maybe it is a biggest robbery in the history of bboying. Or "breakdance" it really doesn't matter how you call it if you have learned what it is... This is a hundred percent win for the Rivers.... Judging like that can reduce the class of a dance. It's a story behind this, I believe. And yes, I forgot to mention, that unfortunately I'm an eboy, haven't achieved anything, but I have studied it out well.

For me I have it scored this way R1 - Lego R2 - Born R3 - Lego R4 - Tells R5 - Rivers It was a close battle but every round Lego did an airchair. And as a unit the style had more fluidity and swift. Plus the difficulty level. Just my 2 cents. Love it or hate it. Jay Are Jive Turkeys

Bboys back then were so used by organizers and corporation. I remember a documentary where bboy sebin was happy he got sponsored by adidas, which he gets free clothing but no money at all.
