I wouldn't say they're cute as Scottish folds are actually an awful breed. What makes their ears fold is their extremely weak cartilage. Due to this genetic attribute, their breed p much has a one hundred perfect Arthritis rate in their whole body. Their joints are terrible and Arthritis can set in at relatively young ages, so they don't tend to live very long, definitely not as long as other cats, and even if they do live it's best just to put them down or else they're just stuck suffering.

It's the breed, it's a Scottish Fold, they are bred to not have any cartilage in their ears, thus making them flat. It's cute but also comes with health complications for the cat so in the end it's actually just a bit cruel.

@@creationsmarko yea it’s the sweetest thing ever. She’s quite the special cat. We buy her hair rubber bands and she loves them. She’s like a puppy. She’ll come to my door and I’ll here her meowing so I’ll open the door and she’ll have the ring in her mouth and as soon as she sees me open the door she drops it at my feet so I can throw it for her. She literally plays fetch it’s the best . Love that cat so much.

they may be cute, but please never purchase floppy ear cats, for that effect they had to breed out the cartilage that keeps the ears up, so there whole body is lower in cartilage, these, flat face and munchkin cats are bred to be unwell and will have health issues and shorter life, its not worth it and the people who breed and sell these make me sick.

This kind of cat (folded ear) is considered cruelty breeding, because it's not natural and prevents them from hearing normally. Like naked cats, munchkin or Persian, folded ears are not cool. No human wants their baby to hear badly, having breathing problems, or other physical and neurological problems because it's cute. So please don't create a hype around purposely physical limited breeds of animals even if they are cute.
