Nope, because this way if she was to later say that the lady got out of her van and tried to hurt her they know she is lying. It also worked well to establish that she never got close enough to physically hurt the guy when he was stopped. Veteran officers rarely give suspects information until they absolutely have to. However, if he had corrected her the first time Lindsay could have said "that what I said" or "that's what I meant to say", but after she said "she/her" 20 times she won't be able to say it was a slip of the tongue.

I don't see that. I think they are gathering evidence of why they had to go hands on. Anytime they do, taking someone to the ground, etc. Investigation will happen. Maybe I missed it, but I never actually heard him ask/order her to get out. He asked her for her DL a BUNCH of times, and she refused to give it to him, so she was DEFINITELY obstructing, but if he didn't tell her to get out, she may be right that he can't legally take her out like he did. I mean, does it bother me that she got put on her ass for acting like she did? No. But the cop should probably be more careful about making sure he makes demands before removing people from their vehicles, as he could be disciplined. This is all assuming I didn't just miss the part where he said it. I could totally have done that!
