I drove over the Hoover dam last Friday during spring break. They are asking about “guns and drones.” Interesting side note, I also visited the west rim of the Grand Canyon that same day. When I went to park the car, security also asked if I had any guns or drones in the car.

I'm not sure about search without consent there. It's not a public thoroughfare, it's a road that only goes to the dam. The hoover dam and the electric system surrounding it have been protected by police for some years now. I don't think I've ever seen them get folks out of the vehicle and search, but it may happen. If you're driving a truck with a cap or other large vehicle they may ask to take a look.

I got sent to secondary inspection for having a red Srt10 short bed the officer was asking me where did I modify the truck, i replied it’s stock , he didn’t believe me and was getting mad because he didn’t believe that it was a stock truck. After 10 to 15 minutes going through my truck , another officer approached me and said oh the Srt10 viper You don’t see them that often, which the mad officer replied , you know this trucks ? The other officer said yeah they come with the viper motor and a 6 speed manual transmission. 141,000 aint nothing, takes 50,000 miles to break in a motor. My F150 5.0L had 404,000 and ran like a top no mechanical issues until I fell asleep driving and crashed it into a concrete meeting and going 80 mph. My other F150 5.0 had 371,000 and still runs fine. I get the oil changed every 5,000 me even though it's 12,000 oil still has the honey color to it hen I change it. They always tell me I'm only using half of the oil life I tell them I don't care I want to change every 5000 me I don't care if I have a 100,000 rated Mile oil in it I want it chanhed every 5,000. The only thing I've had to change is the starter the catalytic converter and the water pump on it in almost 400,000 miles. As long as you do the scheduled maintenance on time every time or earlier than you will never really have an issue with it
