the other united players deserve to be in this list but not him, McCarthy or lambert. of course sir Alex had to sub him off they needed strikers to get the goals. do these guys even watch football? defenders, midfielder are subbed out for strikers if they are down near the end of the game by a goal, or if they need a win if they are currently in a draw. strikers do get subbed off if the manager wants to park the bus to preserve a lead or maintain a draw if they want to. simple as that.
