I have been working on and off on this since march, im glad i was finally able to finish it even tho its not perfect. Its clealy the most canon´t thing i have ever done, dont ask me what was going through my head while i was making the "story" I just went along with the song and created whatever, its supposed to be a human AU, and then they find themselves again in the afterlife. Comment your interpretations... i love that lol.

This was so well-done and beautiful! I love the storytelling, and how you interpreted the song - "Lola" (Angel) used to be a "showgirl" at the club the bartender Tony (Husk) was at, and when he was gone, he went to work for Valentino. And years later, as a has-been, with faded feathers in his hair, wearing the clothes he used to wear, he finds his love again. T_T I don't think enough artworks of Angel take into account how old he is, or how long he's worked in the industry, so it's cool to see a take on his story that appreciates that, but is also ultimately positive.

I think this would actually be a really good fic idea actually. Like imagine they knew each other and actually dated and then Angel died which fueled Husk’s alcohol and gambling addictions. Then an aspect of for sinners is that when they enter hell they initially don’t remember their previous life so Angel and Husk have this “I swear I know you but I don’t know how” thing and then slowly start to realize as they unpack their memories. Idk, just a thought I had. (Oh, and there would be a trigger warning in the tags and the beginning to beware of Valentino lol)
