These are amazing Trucks, I have a 2004 Tahoe. She has never left me. 150,000 miles. Brake Lines went out, that's about it. The Vortec is bullet proof. !!!! You could clean her up nice and get some good money Al.

Great truck! It's a GMT 800. Funny most of the "non runners" I've bought from the auction run. I think it's just lazy workers put a jump pack on it turn the key still no power. Then just mark it as a non runner. Whole time it's just a bad connection. Maybe I've just got lucky. Your reaction when it fired up was gold!!

I own an 03 with 255k miles, and my neighbor owns a 02 with 340k miles. Both vehicles still going strong. Only thing we have had to do is regular oil change and we average 24 mpg on the highway. They are great vehicles.

I love Chevy Tahoe’s especially the 2005 version with the vortex engine in them. I’ve put over 300,000 miles on mines. Never gave me any problems just have to change the oil and spark plugs every hundred thousand miles great vehicle I think you got a good deal very lucky and rare

Invest and drive it then sell it. Please fix that roof. Please do it the right way. Someone could appreciate the vehicle. That vehicle seems like a base model with options. The radio is not top end but the leather and climate control are. You could dye the leather after cleaning the seats. You took a gamble and scored on this vehicle.

Really great deal man! As for the rust just have a shop patch it up and re-spray the roof which should be cheap since it is silver...the seat covers can be bought on Ebay for $210 bucks, they are cheaply made but would make it 10X better for a flip. As for how much it is worth I know with repairs made you could sell it for $7K easy! Value ranges from $6500 -$10,500 with the miles and being in such good shape. I had and sold a 2004 Tahoe with 168,000 miles for $7K, it did take 2 weeks to sell but in your area should be quicker..I did lose a little bit of money on mine but you are in this so cheap that there is no way to lose! great to see another video from you!

Not all GMs from that period were equipped with the information center. I owned and Acadia without the buttons. Some limited functions were available using the trip odometer reset button, but on information center functions.

I’ll never understand why people decide to let go of low mileage gems.. Im guessing this has either taken a bunch of repairs, or someone just didn’t know what they had, love or hate 5.3s, nobody can deny that these things are very reliable when maintained and not pounded into oblivion.. if it’s not a lemon, someone has a very good chance at driving this thing atleast another 150k.. nice find.

Man it’s still bugs me that I paid $4000 for my 02 Escalade that has 166K paint is rough there’s even slight frame damage in the back where it looks like it got rear ended and the towing package got bent down which bent the frame down slightly and dirty interior. But I guess that’s what I get for buying a used car in today’s market where the prices are too high. It’s clean now and looks pretty good but still 4000 after watching your videos years ago were you spent all the 1000 for an Escalade but it is what it is.

Last year my 02 Silverado needed tires, and luckily i found a set of NOS unmounted Cooper Tires for 300 bucks on FB Marketplace which saved me some money. After winter i noticed that the sidewalls were cracking. Not terrible, but it was a sucky sight. I did not realize when i bought them that tires have a shelf life which explains why they are cracking. The tread is ok its just the sidewalls that are cracked. I will drive as much as i can with those tires to get my moneys worth if they are not cracking in the tread. The tires seemed like they were very well made meaning thick, and stiff. Other than the cracking i am pleased with them. Alot better than the brand new Ironmans i bought for my 2000 Silverado which are cracking in the tread.

If you are pulling the headliner for a new one, just fiberglass it from the inside, pull the roof rack, and bondo the outside and repaint. I’d I did that to my 85 S-15 Jimmy back in 93.

Since you don't have the buttons on thw wheel your cluster doesn't have a information center, will need a wheel with buttons, clock spring and a cluster out of a loaded truck if you want the information center in the yukon, its weirdly optioned for sure.

I picked up a 2003 Tahoe for 60$ it runs great cold air but 3rd and 4th is gone. Idk if shift solenoids are bad or if it’s got a broke wire somewhere or if the trans is junk but worst case I sell the 5.3 that’s in it and sell the body for junk. I’d rather pay 500 and get one like whst u just got. Sweet deal

Hey man, LOVE the GMT800 content and have always been coming back again and again for it. Now I have a 06 Silverado that has a good alternator, brand new battery, and no draw from any of the under hood fuses. But yet will still kill my battery after 2 days. Also my grounds are good. No one can figure it out. Thank you.

Shit , i would grind that rust out and then use rust converter. Then bondo it yourself and spray paint it. Like you said its the roof and nobody will notice it anyway. Its not perfect but will make someone a good suv on a budget.
