The Jeep looks like it had a front end collision possible broken fuel line near exhaust manifold.

Also driver's bag was blown so obviously a hard enough hit to trigger that.

I'd guess the bump probably took out an oil cooler or transmission cooler, both oil and trans fluid can catch fire easily when they're hot, and then the fire spread to the fuel line and that was all she wrote for that one...

24:20 My parents had a '96 Plymouth Voyager when I was younger in the mid '00s. It was a white single sliding door model, the odometer didn't work, the windshield was cracked, and it had well over 200,000 miles when we sold it in 2007 (for a '04 Chrysler Town and Country they still own today with 180,000 miles). We still see that Voyager every once and a while going down the road to the guy we sold it to! Plymouth/Chrysler/Dodge minivans seem to be really reliable.

The white Ford pickup had definitely been over on its passenger side hard enough to cause the roof to flex over, that's why the driver's side doors were pushed out at the top. That one's going to need a cab to repair it properly as the original cab will be twisted out of any semblance of the correct shape so new parts just won't fit up to it. It might be possible to jig the cab back into shape but so much of the structural strength will have been lost in the crash that it won't ever be safe to go back on the road...

The wires for the Subaru mirror is the Automatic Headlight/Bright light feature. My 1987 Lincoln Continental has the same wires out of the rear view mirror and that controls the Automatic headlights/ Auto bright light turn off. And yes the 1987 Lincoln Continental has these as standard equipment and ABS was standard in 1986 as well and a car alarm was also standard. That was 34 years ago.

i have that same engine in my honda civic. 245,000 miles currently but at 232,000 it blew a head gasket, did a Japanese engine swap with 50k miles on the engine (paid $850 for the motor), and it runs amazing. Transmission still holding strong!! AC is ice cold! Would be something to consider but it could be a hit or miss with them if you pick it up!

@puriarahbarnia34
@puriarahbarnia34 5 жыл бұрын
Tony P Well it cost $2000 to get a new computer, cluster and just to replace some shit in the engine. $500 for new tires all around. We spent another $1000 replacing the fans and some of the bottles in the engine. It cost a lot to get a car that was sitting for a year to get registered. And we’re about to spend $500 for a new paint job for a buddy so 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️. And this was at a family’s shop and we hired a electrician so ya it was pricey. But our friends who owns a 2000 Chrysler Town and country says to keep it bc they are reliable to shit and he’s the boss mechanic at Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep

that outback looks like shit has alot of miles but listen to that run tho. that is the definition of a great kid's car. if i bought that for 1,000$ and lasted through winter that is an excellent winter beater. timing belt was probably done when the head inevitably blew btw an EJ25 going that long on factory headgaskets for that long would be a miracle. while it looks shoddy someone at least put in the effort to try and hack n pack the rust so many people just let that shit go.

I always thought it was cool Subaru has a dipstick in their manual transmission. Too bad Honda didn’t do it either. The 300 would be cool if you could swap the engine. You did the Dart, so it’s not too bad. But a shop would help. Should use the Subaru for picking up parts and to just run into the ground. The Voyager would be another good candidate for the same thing.
