Looking forward to the new rodifitler! The t fitting has to many parts? It's 3 pieces of pvc. More like you have to give people something they don't feel ripped off by.

Love the green screen with the aquarium and then using a recorded screen capture with the interview person. Nice video set up for remote interview.

can all fish eat copepods ect, or just tangs, mandarin gobies ect... My water was pristine until I got corals and reef roids just dirtys up my water. I can see the brown tinge to my water even in spite of weekly WC! I suppose thats what skimmers are for lol...now regretting my 19 gallon on my kitchen counter! I love it there but really need a skimmer and no room in tank. May have to buy a 15 gallon aio!

My question that I would love to have answered by Chad or someone else from Reef Nutrition… since these copepods can tolerate quite a variety of water conditions… why on earth does Reef Nutrition only offer 1 and 2 day shipping. $40-$50 to ship pods is crazy. Seems like the pods could survive in a bottle for longer than that. Also regarding adding bottled bacteria-RN recommends on their website not to use existing aquarium water because it will “contaminate” the culture. What exactly are we concerned with contaminating the culture with if it’s ok to add aquarium bacteria to the culture. So much conflicting information out there that makes it challenging when learning to culture your own.

Can you feed the Tigger pods to a fresh water tank, how long will they survive after adding them in?
@eroggero4 жыл бұрын
Another very informative video, going to give the pods a try ,once I get some time freed up. So Chad was saying you don’t have to feed viable phytoplankton, you can use the”dead” phytoplankton to feed copepods. Would there be any way to hook it up to a dozer to cover keep the culture going for a vacation?....
@ReefDudes4 жыл бұрын
Yep you could. Ideally you would have a little mini fridge with phyto in it but it would work :)

ReefDudes I had seen a video were he sued a small tank 10g maybe, but was feeding dry raw Spirulina every 3 days, I got thinking 🤔 ,could you use it in a auto feeder or would it just clump up....

When you culture the coco pods do you culture them in 35ppt salinity? Or the same low salinity like culturing phytoplankton like 24ppt?
@A96RangerPrerunner2 жыл бұрын
It’s copepods, and same salinity as your tank
