He is our favorite fish. He would probably let me pick him up he is so personable! It is very hard to find a good one though. They say many are caught with cyanide and those don’t live long. I would make sure it is eating before buying if you get one.

I'm on my 3rd copperband, and finally got a winner that beat the bullying stage and is eating clam very regularly. He eats from clam shell or feeder, I made a feeder similar to yours. How do you handle feeding if you're away of vacation? BTW, we named ours Tres (pronounced Trace) because it's our 3rd.

Unfortunately we lost ours. Not sure why. He ate, did not really get picked on. Are the morning he died, but later that day found him dead. It was really sad, we are done trying now. I see reefers keep them successfully, but we just don’t seem to be able to keep them. When we did have him I had the tank sitter feed him when we were gone. I don’t leave home very often though.

@@HerbysReef wow, sorry to hear that, and isnt the first time I heard that. Mine seems great, has personality, eats, but hasn't touch any aiptasia yet, and I have over 300 aiptasia in my tank. Did yours eat aiptasia? Would sure like to know what caused yours to die without any known reason. Sorry again.

@@LMDAVE29 mine did eat aptaisia, although I only had a few. I suspect my sailfin killed him. They were best buds, they went in the tank together and always stayed together. The day he died I noticed them being a little aggressive to each other, and the sailfin has been super aggressive ever sense. I probably need to get rid of him, but really like that fish
