I think because while it can feel somewhat outdated design wise, it actually doesnt fare too badly while bossing. It has good damage, and decent amount of self utility, so Nexon just doesnt feel the need to do anything with it

After being forced to play Kaiser for an extensive period of time, I feel like the class gets more flack than it deserves. The mobbing is fantastic although it's definitely not brain dead. You need to actively pay attention to the cooldowns and use a bunch of different skills. The mobility is amazing as well, but yeah, definitely took some time to get used to the teleporting. Once you get that down though, I feel like Kaiser isn't limited to what map they can train on due to their ability to move around quickly and their mobbing capabilities. Overall though I would love to see some changes for the class. Aran is still the best Warrior😎

I mained Kaiser for a while and i will admit that the class does feel outdated. My favorite part of the class is the final form transformation and honestly i was hoping they would focus on the final form more in the fifth job skills. The v skills arent bad i actually think it makes his mobbing quite good with draco surge every 6 secs on a passive for gigas wave and blade fall on a 10-15 sec cd. Kaisers burst has always been subpar but not terrible. I also agree that Kaiser has some pretty useless stats especially on the defender mode only useful there is the hp damage reduction. The dragon link is god awful and i honestly hate the interaction with tempest blades. When adele was released I truly believed that the whole flying homing blades is what kaisers tempest blades should have been. Hope my dragon boy gets some love soon without removing his whole final form transformation

I dont understand why nexon added the extra button press to do so called linking for attacks on release you just needed to press attack and arrows to spesific direction and it worked just fine. But then again even if it was still the original way kaiser just feels outdated.

At least with the original dragon link skill, we could recover 3%HPs health by attacking, which is also why so many people complained and wanted kaiser nerfed (also hackers abused that). So they just destroyed the dragon link all along and now that hackers have gone they still haven't reworked kaiser properly in the last 10 years.

Yeah you pretty much covered it. I have a 230 Kaiser and while we have gotten a few changes and buffs in recent (1+ year) updates, yeah it needs some real attention. I'll die on the hill of saying Kaiser is a great class, it just needs to be updated and/or overhauled for the 21st century. Using Gigas wave in final form with high attack speed is an absolute dopamine rush and Kaiser's 5th job skills are incredible. I have tons of fun with this class, but I know it could feel just so much better if they could iron out some of the jank.

Class is unpopular because half the kit looks like it was made in 1988 and is super clunky, and since it underperforms exclusively in the endgame bosses, the mains complain about it so you don't often hear any praise for this class Here's hoping the class gets a full rework in the next KMS summer update.

There has been some reworks to kaisers kit, they just arent huge, i have a level 210 kaiser on the reg server and i recently played a kasier to 140 on reboot for oldtimes sake (legion). Kaiser’s blade burst skill used to hit twice, now it only hits once. Also his floating swords used to have to be clicked again everytime he used them, now they auto respawn. The class has changed. Just not in a huge amount.

How is that a rework that they forced a 3 seconds cooldown on tempest blades (you could instantly use it when they resetted before, now you have to wait 3 seconds. Basically, it's a nerf if you have 7+ seconds cooldown hat.) The skill itself is so garbage that no one uses it while bossing, there are so many buttons that we have to press while bossing and tempest blade is at the very bottom of our list. I will give you that the mobility of kaiser is one of the best when you get used to it. Them making Dragon link obsolete is still a meme to this day, and them reworking blade burst is fine, but I wouldn't call it a groundbreaking change. That barely addressed issues with the class. The class is so damn weak, barely gets low burst cooldowns like other classes, has a 60-second , hasn't received a decent rework or damage buff for years now. Lower the class cooldowns and increase its damage for the love of God. Don't give us more skills. We are lacking hotkey keybind space because of all the junk skills we have to cast in order to maximize our damage output by 1 more %. They also removed the option to use Rope Lift in Dragon form for no good reason. Every 6 months for a job balancing patch, you can read: "we have fixed kaiser nova guardians summon ability."

Adele's "" isn't even an , you tank one hit and then die to anything else that hits you, the invin window is just as small too, it's really hard to use properly. Any adele you talk to wants it buffed it's really bad. Mihile and paladins are fucking tanks their s are designed to be good idk what your complaint is. Dual blade is 45s cd with 1.5s invin window. ours is like 3-4s invin window with 60s cd, shorter cd s will have smaller invin windows, our is perfect the way it is. for tempest blades you legit just press one fucking button every 10s for free dmg you're just lazy af if you think that's too hard to manage, i suggest playing a different class

But apparently for Nexon we couldn't have two classes whose identity was strongly associated with dragons so they killed Dragon Knight turning it into Berserker for the sake of the new Kaiser class.

I was the first 250 Kaiser in EU Reboot, a shame i did it literally days after the 275 cap hit XD...but i pretty much had 0 real competition for levelling that class. For me Kaiser sold me on his lore and design, and with funding i think hes fantastic to play, but there is a pot of clutter in the kit...I personally didnt have an issue with the Dragon Link system, but i think Aran does the "2d fighter input" style better than Kaiser does.

I used to main Kaiser before Adele came out. I love the 5th job skills but the mobbing needs some improvement IMO. I’m not a fan of using Blade Burst (I think that was the move?) a lot but I had to as Gigas Wave only hits multiple enemy in its 5th job form every now and then. But teleporting around the maps with Kaiser ancestors feel so satisfying I gotta admit.

Coming back though man some of these classes just feel so choppy compared to some of the reworks. I used to main Kaiser because I thought the floating blades were cool (you could do this with 2-handed swords like the chocolate banana). Blade Burst used to be so awful, you had to be on the ground to use it. Kaiser's mobbing has gotten a lot better since especially with 5th job skills. You could also bypass cancel WA and damage reflect when in final form and when using Kaiser's Majesty, but boss mechanics don't really utilize those nowadays Also, didn't they fix the hitbox on Transfiguration a while back?

When played well, Kaiser can be one of the strongest class with fairly consistent damage even without burst, good mobility with teleports + up jump + rope connect without cooldown, and good survivability with 4th job buff + Defender Mode (healing at normal mode or -5% damage during final form) + 1min cooldown

The problem I see with Kaiser is that it has a great theme, but a very outdated concept (combo skill trigger, something Aran does better) and hasn't really been reworked properly as of late. We're talking about a class that ended up with 140% max stance after the general skill rework on everyone, Nexon clearly hasn't even bother to look at Kaiser yet. I'm reminded of my main Buccaneer before it got all its reworks and LotD: you can like the class, but it really didn't offer anything unique beyond "I punch things!". Kaiser's uniqueness is basically an "I'm a dragon!" gimmick at the moment.

I’ve mained kaiser since 2014 and the old combo system was simple as in blade burst is ⬅️+➡️ attack and you get more attack and you recover hp so you didn’t need pots cause you’ll be using the combo system way more than hot keys like how it is now and ignoring the new system, defense buff is a joke 😂 transform your weren’t able to jump but you teleport, and now you can do both, they had potential to be even better, but they got nexon’d 😂😂

Well said. People are looking too far into this. All they need to do is buff its damage and remove the useless skills (dragon link, defense mode). It's like when Cursebite had to be cast, now they made it passive. They just need to do that for the 10 other garbage skills that Kaiser has. Having so many abilities clogs our hotkeys and then we can't even keybind our matrix skills anywhere anymore

Swords explosions full clear. Gigas after enhanced becomes a good mobbing tool. You have 2 5th job skills that full clear. You have a fma. 2 summons. Mobbing is literally better than bossing. Bossing is strong but it needs setup because of morph gauge

I have already known that Kaiser would be the next video. We're the underdogs for so long that people think it's super bad. Kaiser is old, but gold, and your demonstration of grinding isn't correct, since you can double jump and teleport while pressing Blade burst will have you move faster, and consider they got nerfed the 2nd hit into 1 single hit, it's decent if you can 1 shot the mob, and Draco Surge has supper big range in final form so it's not an issue. And your using of Iframe is wrong too, you have to press it before getting KOed about 0.2 sec, and during Iframe you have to cancel it with 5th jov Blade Fall in order not to lose your dps output during bossing. Of course it feels clunky, so attack speed inner ability is required, and 2nd line can be boss damage so we only lose like 10% of boss damage compares to other classes with 20% boss damage inner ability, but you know what, Final Form will cover that 10%. And further more, Kaiser has quite a lot of Def ignore stat, even more than Adele with the same set of gear, so he can be a bossing mule as an early bosser. Please be consider that keeping the gauge up to transform isn't bad, Infernal Breath and Tempest Blade help alot, and in bossing, you can spam Dragon Link Wing Beat - Wing Beat to fill it up within 20 to 30 secs. As a Kaiser main myself, this is kinda sad to me that IF compared to some current other class, some class could or coud not pass Kaiser interm of easy play style, we do need some love from nexon but it's hard to rework a class from balanced to something off scale.

yeah, also he isnt bigger than other classes anymore. i wish coppersan did a little bit more research before making these videos. a lot of returning players watch these and i think that putting bad information is irresponsible

@@MaysoonTV He is still bigger, its very noticable in bosses like VHilla. Certain attack animations for whatever reason still have old large hitboxes, so when strings appear you can't attack because your arm stretches out and it counts as hitbox. Hes also a little taller but thats usually not that big of a deal.

Man Kaiser used to be king when the damage cap was 2bil cuz they had the most lines of damage. Too bad they haven't been touched at all since then and are giga outdated. Even AB has gotten tons of qol changes but Kaiser is legit useless now with a terrible link and meh legion card.
