How do you feel about the latency of playing GMS from Asia here? I actually tried using a free VPN and played in GMS NA and Europe too but I could feel the latency is very very terrible because everything was like delayed by 1 or 2 seconds….. I cannot bear with it so I just continued my struggling with MapleSEA :(

Awesome series by far CopperSan! It goes to show that with time you can get to mid game by yourself without needing to bother people for carries. It will definitely take longer but if you want to enjoy the game, this is the best way to do it! Keep it up!

mesos cost to tier up and line chance is the same between red and black cubes, red cubes are cheaper because of more chances so when you go above average every red cube makes the mesos cost way cheaper than black cubes. red cubes for unique>legendary is 35 cubes, black cubes is 20 cubes - mesos cost is the same. This is the average values to know if you are high rolling or low rolling (epic>unique is double the chance, which means half the cubes required to tier up)

Is line chance the same in gms? Because it isn't in kms. I know we have different tier up rates but did maplers test the line chances as well?

Go for the chaos ring first! After that Master SS and after that I would perhaps go for an android first.

I believe 120% is the max meso from gears and can get more from legion and such up to 127%

Max is only 100% from equipment, then 20 from inner ability, and 3-4 from Phantom legion

The upcoming ones? There are pictures of them on MapleSEA's event notes. They're based on the Explorer's friends: Male face/hair is Rondo (no animal ears), female is Olive (uses her redesigned hairstyle and not her old one)

You need drop rate for mesos bags not mesos drop rate

Familiar "increases meso drop rate" increases the drop rate of meso bags. If you already have 67% droprate or higher you won't need that familiar since bags will always drop already anyway. The equipment potential "Meso obtained" increases the amount of mesos dropped per bag. Hopefully that clears it up if that's what you're referring to.

Yeah I always get a weapon drop within 3 days and all you have to do is do the pre quest till you reach town then skip it and go talk to the chick who does voyages and u can start it. Don't have to do much. He's doing great tho. Look at that almost two million range in like 2 weeks I think?

Item Drop Rate is now a stat window stat, so saying weird things like 60% drop to guaranteed mesos bags is misleading and confusing, you need to tell people your stat window needs to read 100% item drop rate because base drop chance for mesos bags is 50% and that wealth pot also gives 20% item drop when is active (and for some reason is being additive and not multiplicative like it is supposed to be, but the 20% mesos are multiplicative which is more important)

Sorry I'm not really following what you're trying to say. Maplers need at least 67% drop rate for meso bags to always guarantee to drop. Getting more drop is great for getting nodes and such but it won't increase your meso rates as you're already getting the most meso bag drops from monsters. Do you mean that it is confusing because you're worried people won't get higher drop rate? Because in that case I don't know what I can do about that. I never said anything like getting more drop rate is bad or that you shouldn't go for it. I'm saying that 67% is the goal for a meso bag to always drop.
