The K9 video is appalling. Not only with the dog, but not one of the officers intervened to 'assist' and 'protect' the man on the ground, while several can clearly be seen kicking and punching the man on the ground. The dog did not break his eye socket, it was one of the police officers. Disgusting!! Hopefully someone can get help for this poor individual in the Courts.

The real monsters here are those who did the captions. But in all seriousness, every time you want more from the government you end up giving police more power. Even with the best of intentions, stupid things happen because we enable it. You can't demand people be perfect. It's naive to think otherwise. The best solution is less government and less government involvement, it will reduce the need for police. And most of this is the local level, your community, town/city, county, and state. Become a dry county? You just create a black market, turn regular people into criminals, and invite extra DUIs because now people are driving to go somewhere. Good intentions, more police power is the only way to enforce it.

Sadly I've seen this going on in sooooo many bodycams these days. You watch these situations and you're just completely enraged and dumbfounded that police treat people the way they do. Like they are less than human. I've seen so many people with mental health or medical emergencies going on and the cops act like aggressive animals towards them. I get so upset. There was no need for him to do that, other than to cause serious pain and injury (they get off on it).
