For the past six years, Ethiopian Orthodox Christians have faced unimaginable suffering and persecution at the hands of fundamentalist groups. They have been subjected to kidnappings, brutal rapes, and bombings, leaving countless innocent lives destroyed and families shattered. To add to the tragedy, many have been forced to renounce their faith and convert to Islam against their will, a violation of their fundamental human rights. What's even more heartbreaking is that this widespread persecution has been largely met with silence and inaction from the global community. Despite the gravity of these atrocities, the international response has been woefully inadequate, leaving these vulnerable Christians feeling abandoned and forgotten. It's crucial that we raise our voices and stand in solidarity with our Ethiopian Orthodox Christian brothers and sisters, demanding an end to this senseless violence and oppression. We must hold accountable those responsible for these heinous crimes and work towards ensuring the safety and dignity of all individuals, regardless of their faith or background. Maybe it's me but the fact that many stories involve baptism from John the Baptist to Christ being baptized and so on would indicate to anyone who claims any form of Christianity in any way shape or form that baptism must be acceptable if not necessary.... Anything less just seems to be ignoring the acts of Christ himself
