I think Guts-Copy might be the best Copy bot, that projectile is big, has good coverage, and splits at end. Too bad the Super Arm didn't work this way for the player

​@@chaosgreyblood The Copy Robots all have the same AI though, which is simply moving back and forth, attacking when at one of three spots, and jumping sideways when the enemy attacks. Elec Man v Thunder Beam may as well be a ditto in that regard

@dylanzlol7293 i wouldn't be shocked if that actually happened tbh. None of the weapons in Mega Man 2 are really that good against Airman. But then again Airman tends to do surprisingly poorly in group battles so who knows maybe the damage he'll inevitably take from hopping across the room will get him before he wipes the Copy robots. Then there's Woodman.

I don't remember Copy Robot actually being able to throw blocks due to the lack of them in the arena. He usually does nothing if you have Super Arm out IIRC.

I hope we see these guys again elsewhere, I feel RockFire and RockCut were dealt a bad hand with the high aggression and high agility of the originals, but on their own they'd probably be great, especially RockFire having both the projectile and orbital

Copy Ice, Copy Elec, and Copy Fire were very... not aggressive. Spent more time running around, jumping into projectiles, than even shooting. Compare the shot count of Super Arm to them, and it is night and day. Copy Guts was just vicious. Copy Bomb is... a sad design flaw. It is the worse Crash Bomb, in EVERY way: Short range, no collision damage, LONG fuse, single hit

Yeah this version of super arm is way too powerful. The blocks need to at least fall out of the sky like Gutsmans do or something. Just being able to fling blocks directly from the aether is insanely op.

Yeah, I saw that coming. I knew that Copy Robot would only beat Guts Man and MAYBE Elec Man… although I did notice something… do Copy Robot and Elec Man have the same A.I. pattern? But yeah, Fire Man is too aggressive, especially when hit, for the Copy Robot to beat, Ice Man fires too many projectiles for Copy Robot to deal with, and Copy Robot is basically unable to dodge them, and Bomb Man… well, Hyper Bomb for Mega Man is one of the worst weapons in the series. Meanwhile Elec Man was basically an even fight, and Guts Man didn’t stand a chance since Copy Robot actually… y'know, attacks fairly consistently. It is kind of funny though, because if you try to use Super Arm against Copy Robot in Mega Man 1… you can’t attack him, and he can’t attack you, since there are no Guts blocks in his arena.

Iirc, megaman victory sometimes uses a custom AI megaman that has a charged buster, so maybe the copymen are simply modified version of that megaman. That, or the copymen come from megaman 1's megaman-clone man battle where he copies whatever weapon you're using
