This represents what I think about Undertale AU's. I love them so much but there isn't that much of appreciation for the original sans. It's like sans now isn't a character, it's just a reflection of the AU's and not the other way around. Undertale is dying, we need to do something, fast. This really does show how much the fandom has taken a toll on Sans and his character. We’ve gone so deep into fannon that it’s hard to tell what’s confirmed and what was made up to make cooler art or AUs. We’re defining him by these alternate versions of himself and it’s really just too much to handle. If Sans were real, he would be pretty depressed. Not just from the RESETs, but what the fandom has become.
